There is no perfect place, BUT Faith Baptist comes close. After eight years at public school (LAUSD), we have found a place where our children can thrive! Trustworthy, safe, reli...

After reading both reviews, I found myself really thinking about my stand with this particular school. I have 4 children who currently attend this school. For the most part they ...

Great school 5/3/2011

great school we drive 1/2 to 45 minutes to get to school because it is worth it, such a great school academic and in discipline more

Alumni 4/29/2011

Faith Baptist Schools' rigorous academics prepared me for college, while the spiritual instruction has guided me in life. I am thankful for the influence of Faith Baptist Schools in my life. more

High Standards, Great Value, Excellent Education 4/29/2011

I love that Faith Baptist holds high standards for each student - both in academics and in character. Students at this school are different than other schools because they are expected to be respectful and responsible. I wouldn't send my child anywhere else. more

Great School 4/28/2011

My two boys attend Faith - \r The teachers and staff are awesome and do well in teaching my kids both academically and also on instilling positive values. Faith is also affordable which is a plus! more

Like 4/28/2011

A great school with a dedicated staff. If you are looking for a conservative, Christ centered environment, a good education, and affordable cost, this is the place. The sports and music here is also great. more

Parent and staff member 4/28/2011

Faith Baptist is an AMAZING school. I have four children who graduate from Faith. All of my children were challenged academically, strengthened spiritually, and always encouraged to make the decisions in life that they would not regret later. They all participated in music, sports, and drama. They all went on to Christian colleges, and are living for the Lord today. I thank God for Faith Baptist Church and Schools! more

Great Administration 4/27/2011

I know that the administration and school board of Faith Baptist Schools is fair and just. I appreciate all that they do for faculty, staff, and students. more

Very negative experience 4/9/2011

This school was a very frightening experience for our child. It practically broke him spiritually. He entered preschool as a secure, self-confident person and all that was stripped from him. more

Faith Baptist Damnation 2/17/2011

This is most likely the WORST place you can send your child to school. On the outside it looks great, disciplined, and prestigious. I spent almost my entire childhood in this school, and I can say without a doubt you are better off at a public school. Religion is used to scare the bajeezus out of kids into doing what the school mandates them do, unfair school rules (they run a demerit system, you can literally be kicked out for not having your shirt tucked in), very judgmental and even racist faculty, no critical thinking activities; I don't even know where to start. If you love your child, or care even remotely about their psychological, social and emotional upbringings, do your child and yourself a favor and do not, DO NOT send your kid to this nazi camp...er, "school." \r \r I attended a highschool graduation and literally, at least 45 minutes was spent talking about marriage. What on earth does a graduation, let alone a high school one have to do with marriage? If there is a hell, a more

AWESOME - YEAR ROUND! 2/11/2011

My two kids love Faith during the school year AND summer day camp is so awesome I only wish I could attend. Instead I will gladly work to send my kids here. Everyone knows them, looks out for each orther, accountability, fun and an education far beyond what is taught in our public schools. Which my friend works in, her comment was "keep duing what your doing because it's working" If you don't like to be an involved parent or have your child be accountable then public school is the place for ya, but not us. more

Chinese baptist church Tarzana California 12/10/2009

The church members of the above church ripped off my wife and I am stuck with the bills. The pastor doesn't deal with conflict . Just make you aware that these things are happening and just in case they move to your church. They really hurt our family and other families. Life goes on but not in a baptist. May God forgive these baptist church goers. More info at the above church website under reviews. more

Avoid This School 10/30/2008

There was more access to illicit substances at Faith Baptist than my public high school. more

I am so glad that my children attended Faith Baptist School 7/22/2008

My daughter has some minor learning problems and school was never easy for her. Thanks to the loving, caring and well-qualified teachers at F.B., my daughter went on to do well in college and now is a succesful busniss women. But, more than that, she is a commited Christian. I thank God for Faith Baptist Schools. more

Horrible 8yrs spent there... 7/15/2008

As an 8yr former student of this school, I urge anyone that cares about their child's emotional, spiritual, and intellectual development to not attend Faith Baptist... or their church services. Although they try to make sure children have a good "base" education in English and math, excelling in academics will come easily to anyone who can memorize. The majority of lessons involve memorizing facts with little to no real explanations. Many times children were discouraged and/or scolded for asking critical-thinking questions. This school teaches little to no critical thinking skills and even fewer truly creative projects. The science that I learned there was ludicrous. On top of that, the "spiritual" messages that were sent to us were all based on fear, damnation, and shame. Many of my former classmates left that school with utterly low self-esteem and a distorted value of self-worth. \r \r This school was a center for major emotional damages. more

DO NOT SEND 6/5/2007

I attended the school for 9 years and it was pure torture. They use the Bible to justify hatred and judgment towards their fellow man. The kids cannot move the wrong way without it being a sin, it adds so much extra pressure when education should be the focus. many teachers are grossly under qualified and are there purely for religious merit. teachers end up spending classes (like math and science) preaching instead of teaching. Correct me if im wrong but there is a time and place for spiritual counseling. \r \r I think going there made me a stronger person, but if it hadn't been for my independent nature i never would have learned about other cultures, religions, philosophies and the importance of tolerance in a land of immigrants and so called equality. (all of these things i learned by doing my own research and through college courses)\r \r This school does not prepare children for the real world academically or psychologically. A school associated with religion can be a good thing if more

Awesome Education 3/6/2007

My three daughters were very sad to leave FB. They received a tremendous education that has carried them throught inferior schools that they now attend due to moving out of state.\r FB is a great school academically and morally and spiritually. more

Not a very good school 5/28/2006

I attended this school for high school and from personal experience, I do not recommend sending your children to this school. I recommend finding a better private school. more

Great Education For A Great Price!!! 1/14/2006

I'm not really sure how they do it! We moved to this area from the midwest and have 2 children in Faith Baptist Schools. We couldn't find a school that offers this quality of an education for under $5,000 anywhere in the Indiana or Ohio. On top of everything else, they instill discipline in the children. PROS: Education, Value, Discipline CONS: more

Not a good place to send your child 5/22/2005

I sent both of my children here and much emotional damage was done to both of them. They twist the Bible around and they have unreasonable school rules. Do not send your children here. more

Warning 5/16/2005

Do not send your children to this school. I offer fair warning , this is the worst school that I know of. Faculty is grossly underqualified. Avoid at all costs. more
