Review content:
As an 8yr former student of this school, I urge anyone that cares about their child's emotional, spiritual, and intellectual development to not attend Faith Baptist... or their church services. Although they try to make sure children have a good "base" education in English and math, excelling in academics will come easily to anyone who can memorize. The majority of lessons involve memorizing facts with little to no real explanations. Many times children were discouraged and/or scolded for asking critical-thinking questions. This school teaches little to no critical thinking skills and even fewer truly creative projects. The science that I learned there was ludicrous. On top of that, the "spiritual" messages that were sent to us were all based on fear, damnation, and shame. Many of my former classmates left that school with utterly low self-esteem and a distorted value of self-worth. \r \r This school was a center for major emotional damages.
