To make a long story short: 98% of the front desk is rude, snotty, and gossips right in front of you, and the doctor allows them to be this way. She will not take the time to call you back if you have a problem, and in her eyes you are the problem - not her staff. Don't waste your time here.
The long story: The first time I went the this optometrist, she gave me the wrong prescription so I had to come back for a new exam. The girls at the front kept trying to charge me again, and then would turn their backs to me and whisper about me. They were also calling another employee stupid because she had booked my appointment wrong! This was all done in front of patients!
My eyes were really dry so I was trying out different contacts. I called to communicate to the optometrist how the contacts were working, and the front desk girls said they'd have her call me. 24 hrs later - no call, so I called again. They put me on hold for 5 min. so I hung up and called back about 20 min later - they said ""oh we were in the process of looking for your chart"", then they put me on hold again to find my chart!
They told me 'oasys is the contact that is best for moisture and that will work best' but I told them it did not work for me, and they responded with ""well that's the best one"". I said I'd still like the doctor's opinion and they said they'd have her call me. 24 hr later (again) - no call. So I called again and the girl at the desk said ""She's planning on calling you, but she's a very busy woman!"" (what Dr who actually cares needs 3 DAYS to call someone back?!). I had to go into the office after that and that girl kept giving me rude looks, wouldn't smile on eye contact, and wouldn't speak to me when I asked her a question!
A couple of days later I called the doctor again and she actually called back! I tried to let her know how her staff is treating people, and gossiping at the front desk and she acted like I was horrible and difficult! She said she'd have the front desk manager talk to them. She also said the staff had told her that I didn't want to talk to them and only wanted to talk to her. I was more than willing to talk to them, and I did, but I still wanted to talk to my optometrist. How horrible am I if I actually want to talk to my doctor! She said ""...I don't have time to call back every patient!..."" - definitely NOT the kind of doctor I want for me or my friends and family.
There are far busier doctors, in much more advanced fields who MAKE time to call back their patients - because they actually care! I would never recommend this doctor or the office because they are inconsiderate and really don't care.
Pros: one or two of the front desk is actually nice or bearable
Cons: everyone else is rude!
