My Daughter has been with evolution talent agency for 4 years! Our experience has been wonderful, we attended Orlando talent inc, she was signed with a New York agency a fabulous one at that, she met and was called to 17 agency's , if your experience was not what you thought it should be maybe it isn't the agency, it's a tough industry, my daughter is now working like crazy in Paris spent couple years in New York done work for many large clients and been in many magazines, WE Love evolution and I have to say they are wonderful very honest professional people to deal with, my daughter is 19 now and has resigned with evolution on her own to be her mother agent because she trust them and they are there for her! They got her signed in Paris Germany and many other agency's, but they can only get u there u have to have what it takes! So Don't bad mouth a business because it didnt go your way ! You may not have it! Just saying! No I Don't Work For them either! more

I've been with Evolution for over a year and my experience has been amazing. I have booked several local and national commercials through them, as well as, the lead in an indie movie called ""Curfew"" that you can read about on facebook or on IMDB. Everyone with Evolution and Talent Inc. are totally professional and awesome to work with and for. The training classes that they offer are free of charge unlike scam agencies out there in the Charlotte Area. The costs that you will personally incur are minimal, necessary and in no way does Evolution profit from your start-up investment of head shots and resumes. If you want to be an executive you will need business cards...If you are an actor you will need head shots. Don't get mad when someone asks you to get them!! Evolution gets you in the game, auditioning for local commercials, national commercials as well as movies and television. I've had legit reads for many shows that are currently on network television. Evolution is the real deal!!!! \r \r Many people think that signing with a talent agency is the last step to stardom...the fact is...Signing with an agency, like Evolution, is the first step of many. You will spend some time proving yourself to the agency before the will send you on auditions. Once you're on the audition circuit, the casting agents will make you work to prove yourself to them before they will take a chance on you or vouch for you to a client. \r \r Some people have sour grapes over the fact that they are not made into a ""Star"" or ""Supermodel"" instantly. No agency can make you into a ""star"". Working in this business takes patience, grit, hard work and commitment. There is no substitute for hard work and dedication. That goes for any business and not just acting and modeling. If you are willing to work for yourself than Evolution will work for you!!! more

I have been with Evolution Talent Agency roughly four months and my experience has been nothing less than positive. Since first signing with Evolution, I can genuinely say that they have always looked out for my best interests and have never pressured me into doing anything I was hesitant to do. That being said, through their representation and professional advice I have been afforded unique opportunities which have undoubtedly contributed to my growth as an actor and model. I have followed through with their recommended acting and modeling classes as well as the national talent showcase in Orlando, known as Talent Inc. Ranging from the one-on-one training I received in the classes to the rare opportunity of being evaluated and interviewed by thirty of the entertainment industry’s top agents, I can honestly say it was an investment well worth my money. Upon the completion of the event, I was fortunate enough to receive the overall male fashion model award which granted me a scholarship to attend next year’s Talent Inc. conference for free, along with several callbacks from the nation’s top modeling agencies. Although my journey has just begun, it is inevitable that the success I encountered at the Talent Inc. showcase was due to Evolution’s training and guidance. Also, through utilizing Evolution’s strong relationships with top professional photographers I have completed two photo shoots, which have provided me with a strong portfolio that will hopefully play an instrumental role in placing me in larger markets. more

Evolution has represented my children for the last five years. They did participate in the Orlando Talent Inc event; which is a separate company from Evolution. That event did prepare them to audition as well as opened doors for representation in LA. Both my children have received dozens of jobs. My youngest son models on a regular basis for Belk. He also did BMW Magazine, Southern Living Magazine and Nascar Hall of Fame. My oldest son did sign with an A+ agent in LA and has a major LA manager. He has auditions several times a week for feature films, Disney and Nickelodeon. Recently, he landed a lead role in a feature film and a TV show to name a few from his extensive resume. All of this has been possible because of Evolution Talent Agency. This can be a complicated and very competitive business but Brittany from Evolution has educated us along the way. Evolution can open the doors for auditions but it is up to the actor or model to land the job and it takes hard work and dedication to get the training necessary to compete for the roles. We have been very happy with Evolution and have recommended them to several people. more

Evolution has done a wonderful job representing my daughter. We signed with Evolution in 2008 and since then, my daughter has auditioned for and booked dozens of jobs. Her agent there is Brittany and she books my daughter regularly for print ads for companies like Belk and CWD Kids. She has booked commercials for major companies such as Nissan and Novant Health and has booked her in supporting roles in 2 major feature films that were both ranked #1 in the box office. Evolution also helped to connect us with a great manager out in LA and get us signed with an A+ children's agency out there. My daughter did do the Talent INC training program when she was younger, but it was not a prerequisite to be with Evolution. Talent INC was referred to us and we chose to do it for the training that she would receive from it. They are two completely separate companies. Evolution does not require talent to take classes at the Talent INC Performing Arts Studio, they give talent that need additional training this option as one of many performing arts studios in the Charlotte area to learn and grow from so that they can be competitive when Evolution sends you out on auditions. If you ever want to go to a bigger market to make it as an actor, you need to understand that training is essential to success and you must invest in quality training to make it in this industry. Both Evolution as an agency and Talent INC as an educational training program have set our daughter up for success. \r more

The user Michelle S WORKS FOR EVOLUTION. If you look on other sites her response is verbatim what another worker of Evolution, Erin, wrote. This agency is 100% a scam. They make you pay 1,000 dollars for classes then try to make you pay 1,700 for this trip to Orlando immediately after classes so other agencies can see if they are interested in you. I don't know one person that got signed to one of the big agencies after going to Orlando. You will get NO work through this agency. They will NEVER answer any emails you send them inquiring about working. They take your money and then they avoid you like the plague. All of the ""success"" stories they have on their page are about people who found that work ON THEIR OWN without evolution. The fact evolution claims them at all is a sick trap to lure other people into wasting their money. Trust me you do not want anything to do with this ""agency"" and I'm surprised they're still running. Oh, and did I mention after the classes and expensive Orlando trip they make you pay for a photographer to take your photos then do nothing with said photos. Literally once you shoot your photos they don't give you a book to put the photos in or anything not even hard copies they send you your photos through email and that's it. All they want from you is your money if you want to become a model or actor do not waste your money or energy on this agency you will regret it. more

I have been with Evolution for several years and they have gotten me so much work! It is normal for local modeling jobs like fashion shows not to pay. Charlotte is not a fashion capital like NY or LA, if you are a local model it is good to do what ever jobs you can to build your experience locally so you can move on to a bigger market and that is what Evolution has always helped me do! I know the agency offers workshops for ACTORS who have no experience but it is not required for you to take those workshops and if you don't, they point you in the direction of other workshops in the Charlotte area. You cannot be sent out to auditions for acting jobs if you have no experience. more

Evolution Talent Agency is 100% a scam. In over a year of representation with them, they found me one job, and I was paid over 6 months later. They send emails for modeling jobs with no pay, they are making most of their revenue through selling acting workshops, if you don't constantly pay to go to these workshops, they are not interested in representing you, because you are not generating revenue for them. Since leaving Evolution I have booked several Fashion Week jobs, been a model for major hair care lines, been in a feature film, and have had a principal role in a major televison network. What now? They are going to put my picture on their main page and claim that they discovered me?! I could find that many jobs on my own, without an agency, but Evolution could only find me one job in over a year of representation. Definitely, a scam! more
