I love it so much, that I drive all the way from Tampa every time I need a brow waxing or hair cut. I have been seeing Hailey since 2004, and she is without a doubt the first stylist that knows my hair better than I do. I can't even count the number of compliments I receive on my hair color and cut. Kyle is the best esthetician I have ever visited. I am amazed by the work she does with my brows. On top of it all, I feel like I am visiting a friend each time I visit J.Con. more

Best hair stylist for curly,wavy hair on men 3/25/2011

My stylist is Cam from the st.petersburg salon on 4th street. I have traveled the world with my job and so i have had many different nationalities of people cut my hair. The only ones that can seem to cut it perfect (even when they don"t speak engish) are asian women. They make every effort to make sure that both sides of you head are cut the same and the way they can blend the wavy and curly parts of my hair is just fantastic. Most american women seem to not pay close atttenton to these small details and to me are very important when you are in a business meeting and one sideburn is longer than the other, and believe me people from other countries look at this, on a person they meet for the first time. I would highly recommend Cam to all my colleagues who travel or not. She is just a great hair stylist and has a wonderful personality which makes you feel better when you leave. J.con needs more people like her! more

Jennifer is simply the BEST!! She 'brings up a hair in the way it should grow and when it is old it will not depart from it." I'm living proof. She has been cutting and advising me on hair care monthly for almost 20 years and my wife won't let me go anyplace else. Because of Jennifer's 4 day week and an extremely busy book there have been times when I've had to go to others. On those occasions my "home inspector" invariably says it's okay, but next time go back to Jennifer. There is something about the cut that's never quite as good. Jennifer is soft spoken, patient and professional. Given the chance she can usually find a way to work around conflicting schedules. I do believe no one could find a better stylist. Don Knowles more

Katie has saved me in every possible definition of the word "saved"! She has an incredible gift for creating the perfect look for each individual. She is such an artist. Whether it is color, cut, or just helping lift your spirits, she works magic!! You will not be sorry making an effort to spend some time in her world of enlightenment at J con. Katie has been taking excellent care of me for almost 6 years and I would never leave!! more

Courtney At JCON does a great job, coming from Cali and very expensive personal hairstylists, it was nice to find a nice place where I can get my hair cut the way I like for a price a lot less than Im use to paying. I highly recommend Courtney she does a great job, she makes getting a haircut a relaxing and social event instead of a an annoying errand. more

I have been coming to Jcon for the last 10 years to get my hair done - highlights, cut and blow dry. Katie has been my stylist from the beginning. She always go above and beyond to make sure that I'm satifsfied everytime. I past her business card out to all my friends and co-workers. more

I have been going to JCON for 20 years. I started going when I was 18. The stylists are wonderful. I love getting facials and brows done by Andrea. She is amazing! I have had my pedicures done by many technicians there. They are all wonderful too. Wanda is just fabulous!! I recommend this salon to all of my friends!! more

Janet is the best for color! 3/16/2011

Janet does awesome color. I have been coloring and highlighting my hair for over 20 years now and Janet is the only stylist who has actually "listened" to my color requests and gives me what I ask for. For color and/or highlights I wouldn't trust anyone else. more

WHAT A FIND!! SARAH AFIENHO: NAIL TECH 3/15/2011

I have been looking for a really good local nail tech ever since I stopped working in Tampa where I was used to very professional nail service. I have tried all the new nail salons in the St Pete area and none can hold a candle to Sarah at J.Con!! She is so very detailed and outstanding in her services and demeanor. The outcome was amazing. I chose the shellac service with a french finish. My nails are and always have been very soft and always peeling, chipping, requiring constant filing of ragged edges and a general pain the the neck. They were also recovering from years of acrylic product. I thought there was no way she could rescue them. Thankfully, I was wrong and they look and feel amazing. I haven't picked up a nail file since they were done!! I have booked every 2-3 weeks for the year!! She also did an amazing pedicure- the best I have ever experienced. I want to thank my friend Lois for sending me to Sarah. Besides a great talent - she is very professional and a delightful person. I really really enjoyed the experience!!!! more

Jan Connell and Haley Rock 3/15/2011

Since I can only post once. I have to include both ladies that keep me looking good. Haley and Jan. Haley has done my hair for years. I decided to go bargain hunting once and after bad cuts, bad color that turned brassy many times or the wrong color, and overrated stylists I glady returned to Haley. She listens and totally relates to my wild curly hair. Ladies over 50. Where does all that facial hair come from? And the wild brows? Jan keeps the grays in check and the hairs in place. It's nice to come out looking more natural than when you went in. Jan is wonderful and a perfectionist. more

Excellent Stylist - Tina Crosby 3/14/2011

I have been getting my hair cut by Tina Crosby since I was a little girl (I'm in college now) and have always loved the experience. She is very skilled, professional, and friendly. I would highly recommend J Con Salon & Spa in general and especially Tina Crosby as a stylist. more

Andrea has been my stylist for years now. She is so friendly and sweet, she always makes you feel comfortable. She listens during our consult and truly tries her hardest to please her clients. I've honestly had times where I've told her to just "do whatever" with a few suggestions and its always been fantastic! She's also amazing with short cuts!! I've never been unsatisfied! I'd reccommend her to anyone I know, in fact I do all the time! more

Excellent Services 3/9/2011

I have been going to J.Con for 7 years, and I couldn't be happier with the service I receive. I drive to J.Con from Tampa because I haven't found any salon there that meets my expectations. J.Con meets and usually exceeds those expectations! I go to Rebecca for hair and Kyle for eyebrows, and both are AMAZING at what they do. I have never had a bad experience with either one of them. They are attentive and focused on the customer the whole time and are true professionals. more

Cam Soth does an amazing color, cut, and style! 3/6/2011

I have been going to JCon for six years and have been going to Cam for almost a year. She is AMAZING!!! I have seen two other stylists at JCon (one which moved away) before meeting Cam. She REALLY listens to what I want done, pays attention to detail, and always gets my request right!! She has corrected my color issues and given great advice for cuts that would be best for the frame of my face. Cam is such a gentle and kind person and a phenomenal stylist! I have referred four people to her...those women have also referred their friends to her too. My sister-in-law travels from Ft. Lauderdale to see her! Get your appointment with Cam now!! She fills up quick but she's worth every minute!! more
