The fact that the “general manager” hung-up on me after I called to complain about the bleeding and having clear pus not even 24 hours later, is the reason why I created this profile, to be able to leave a comment. The receptionist (male) and the “general manager” were extremely rude, and the manager’s solution was to tell me that he couldn’t provide me with medical advice, and hung up. Guess he’s right; he’s by far able to provide medical advice, when he can’t even provide a sanitized environment and competent nail technicians. Oh, and of course this business has been reported to the Better Business Bureau, and has had other complaints about sanitation; if only I’d known before this experience!\r Of course with a great first visit and being close to home, I decided to go for the second visit three weeks later for removal of shellac and new manicure. I arrived on a Thursday around 5:15, and there was only one other customer in the manicure area getting service. The nail technician I got was very inexperience and was obvious she didn’t know what she was doing. She cut down my nails to a good length, but then filed down my nail to almost nothing, literally to the skin!! When it came time to apply the shellac (gel), she applied thick coats and the white tip was extremely thick, bumpy, and full of bubbles. To fix the gel she got the cuticle clipper and began clipping more of my nail, skin around my nail, and then used her own nail to push skin under the nail. I kept pulling my hand away letting her know that she was hurting me, she kept on replying that she was fixing it. One of the other employees realized what was going on and went to get the manager (male), he then asked me to move to another station to get my nails “fixed”. The technician tried her best to fix what was left of my natural nails and the shellac, but it still looks horrendous!! When I paid and was ready to leave, I was handed an envelope with a $5 gift certificate for my next visit!!RIDICULOUS!! It was then 7:25 (2hrs for a shellac manicure that should not take longer than an hour)! NEVER, NEVER in the last ten years of experience in nail salons have I had bleeding nails, pus, or infection. They are very incompetent, rude, and CHEAP!! They don’t care about the services they render, much less charging you for it. Needless to say I ended up with tiny nails, a HORRIBLE shellac manicure, swollen fingers, and an infected finger/nail!! Going back to Galleria Nails, where it may not be “fancy” but the service is great, but most of all I get to keep my nails healthy, along with a professional shellac manicure!! Save your time, money, and nails from infections; don’t invest in their “fancy” for nothing atmosphere, it’s all for appearance.\r more

CRAZY EVIL PEOPLE!!! 5/14/2012

They deserve 5- Stars!!!! I went to Enso Nails with my 9yr old son to get a pedicure..from the moment I walked in they were rushing me and telling my son to sit down repeatedly. I almost got up and left due to lack of customer service. I got my rushed awful pedicure that only took 30min :/ Worst pedicure ever!!! I walk up to pay and the cashier lady tells me my card is declined.. So I call my bank and they said I spent over my limit that day and more funds would be released in the morning. I booked a Disney trip the same day that was well over 2,000 so that is why my card declined. I tried to explain this to the cashier and asked if I could go home and get her cash (I live down the road) she yelled NO you pay now and stared yelling you dont pay you go to jail... My son started to freak out thinking his mom is going to jail and started crying. The lady then tells my son to shut up and sit down!!! I then get in her face and tell her she can not talk to my son like that.. she laughs and says your going to jail. I grab my son and try to walk out and she and three others come up to the door and they lock it. she pushes me to the chairs and by this time my son is hystarical.. I then calmed him down and called 911.. they locked us in and 4 women stood infront of the door. The police came knocking and I had to barge my way out dragging my son!!! I explained to them what happen and they got both sides. Enso nails people tried to say I punched them all in the face and wanted a free pedicure.. The cops figured they were full off it,once they questioned my son and he and I had the same story. I had a friend bring me money during all the drama. I paid and Told the officer I would be fileing a report on them. The cops let us both go. I have never in my life been treated like this and infront of my son at that!! Dont ever go here PLEASE!!! unless you want to be treated like your not a person. more

Enso Nails Pflugerville has Pflunked! 4/5/2012

I have been going to Enso since 2009. What I enjoyed was the clean atmosphere, the great selection of colors, the set up, and the fact that you can have a margarita while getting your nails done. I will admit, however, that the romance in long gone! I have given them plenty of opportunities to get it together but they simply DO NOT CARE about customer feedback or loyalty. I have had many Spa Pedi's. The quality of the Spa Pedi has gone down significantly! During one pedi, I asked the tech to please spend a little more time on my heels since it was summer and I wear a lot of flip flops. She literally frowned at my foot and told me there was nothing she could do about that... I felt like I was Chenanay in a Martin episode! On another occasion while getting Gel Nails, I had to bring my kids with me (this was one time in 3 years of going to Enso). The staff at Enso was so incredibly rude to my children it was unbeliveable. I don't expect everyone to have patience with children and I am not claiming that my children are perfect however, they were standing along the wall right next to me and the manager lady kept coming by telling them ""dont lean on the wall"", ""don't touch this"", ""don't touch that!"" Other nail shops I have been to make conversation with kids that come in and ask if they want polish or a flower... little girls eat this up! NOT HERE! They are not kid friendly at all. Lastly, they have this young girl who works the front... she is the rudest B!#$% you will ever meet! If you have ever been to Enso Pflugerville, you know who I am talking about and need I say more. If you decide to go there for the first time, you will quickly know this chick. I tried to bring this to the attention of the owner and he cared less about my constructive feedback as a matter of fact, he could care less about retaining me as a client despite the fact that I have referred tons of business there and purchased hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards for friends. After months of taking my business elsewhere, I wanted to get a full set on the way home so I decided to give them one last chance. The OPEN sign was on so I walked in. The greeter chick was sprawled across two chairs with her feet kicked in the air. She didn't bother to get up on my account instead she rolled her eyes at me and mummbled under her breath ""May we help you?"" I chose to ignore her and walked to the gentleman behind the register and stated that I wanted a full set he said ok then walked to the back. The manager walked back with him and told me that they were closed and could not do my full set. I said ""the OPEN sign is on that's why I came in."" She said ""yeah, because we have one customer here and everybody has gone home... Sorry!"" As I turned and walked away, I wish that I could say that I was dissappointed but instead I thought ""This place is pathetic! What a waste!"" I have come to realize that they give you alcohol so that you don't see clearly how aweful they are in customer service and in skill. Pforget Enso Nails because they Pfail miserably. Save yourself the trouble. Not worth the dissappointment! more

Amazing Lashes 2/12/2012

I have been getting my lash extensions done at a specialty boutique for a couple years now until recently. My boyfriend brought me to Enso as a gift to get my lashes done and I just love them. They're just $49! Are you kidding me?! I don't even wanna tell you how much I was paying at my old place. The set I got is so full and awesome looking I can't wait to come back for the fill. It didn't hurt that the store is really cute and trendy too. more

Such an enjoyable experience. 2/10/2012

I've been coming here for a while since a friend bought me a gift card. The color selection is amazing and always super organized. Seriously, I wish my shoes collection could be this good! A mani/pedi for just $34 and it's well worth the money. They're definitely not hurting for business since the place is uber trendy and has a steady flow of traffic every time I've been there, but they always take their time and make you feel welcomed. I don't have much to gripe about Enso Nails if anything at all. Just grateful I finally found a nail salon that isn't the typical cheesy sweat shop, I'm sure all you ladies know exactly what I'm talking about. Definitely worth a visit, highly recommended! more

Cute Nail Salon 9/20/2011

I like how this nail salon looks on the inside, flat screens, and portraits on the wall, plus the white piano in the middle of the room. I go specifically for pink solar nails, and have gone to a few different people there. My absolute favorite is John - he is a perfectionist. I let my nails grow out way too much each time and the nails don't come up on the sides like I've noticed usually happens. Also I've had nails break off and when John does it, that hasn't happened. more

never again. 9/11/2011

I created an account just for this salon. Tells you how mad I am. Where should i begin? Well to start off lets just say that they have no concept of time. I came in on a Thursday and was told that it would be a 20 minute wait for a pedicure and solar fill. Judging from past experience I figured it will probably be at least 30 minutes or more before they can get to me. So I decided to stay and wait (my fault). 45 minutes have passed... I asked how much longer it will take before they get to me.... ""Oh not long just 10 minutes"" said one of the techs. About ten minutes later they proceeded to taking me to the back and let me soak my feet. THIRTY MINUTES LATER.... they finally started on my pedicure that took only 18 minutes from start to finish. That's including the polish! And please don't let me start on my refill... They were lumpy and my french have no smile lines... They were all straight white lines on all ten fingers and boy were my nails sore for the next 4-5 days! Overall it was a bad experience. She did not scrub my feet at all. My polish chipped on the 3rd day. I was extremely mad when i left there. I used to come here pretty often because I live only 5 minutes away but consider this to be my last. I started going to a salon closer to my work called lifestyle nails and spa in the north hills shopping center by braker and 183. Holly the girl that had to fix my solar nails did a fantastic job! She had to take them off and she even showed me how the tech at Enso drilled into my nail plate leaving deep red lines on all 10 nails. (the reason it being so sore for almost a week!) It has been a week already since Holly has done my nails and they still look like I just had them done. I feel like for better customer service you probably will be able to achieve it elsewhere because these people really don't have a clue what it's all about. ***Oh! when I told the tech to scrub my feet a little more because they still feel very rough she refused to do it and even told her manager to come and talk to me (more like ganging up on me) and made such a scene. I'm sorry but I paid for a deluxe pedicure so I didn't think that I would leave with my feet feeling the same way they felt when I came. So sad! I should have left after the pedicure! more

used to be good, but................ 9/4/2011

When I first started going to Enso Nails, they were awesome. The person I had doing my nails (Kim) is great - and still is, when I can get her. The thing that has ticked me off lately is that about 7 of the last 8 times I've been there, I've called in advance, booked an appointment with Kim, only to find out I wasn't the only one who had an appointment with her when I get there. ""Oh, we're so sorry.. we don't know what happened."" is always the excuse. I end up having to either rebook and come back or have another technician do my nails. Once I can understand, but this often feels like it's on purpose because they figure I'll just go ahead and let someone else do it since I'm there. (Which I have done, but no more...) Then when the other person does it, I feel like they rush through my mani / pedi. I really don't feel like I'm getting my money's worth any more. After today's appointment, where the same thing happened, and where I let someone else do my nails (and he made my fingers sore in the process - on a regular gel manicure), I decided that was my last visit to Enso Nails. I gave them more than enough chances, and I've had it. Too bad. They used to be wonderful, and it's sad to see them go the way of so many other places. more

Not as good as I expected... 7/29/2011

I went here because they called my office and said that we did work on there AC units so I decided to look them up I liked the website don't see very many nail salons with wesites. When I went the place looked really pretty and they have a wide verity of polishes. But when I got in the chair I felt my pedicure was rushed and the guy who did it had an attitude when I asked him to get some dead skin off the side of my toe. I don't think the pedicure was worth the price. I've had better pedicures!!! Plus they had the nerve to ask me to put my $450 leather purse on the floor. more

Worst customer service in Pflugerville! 7/19/2011

I went in for a mani/pedi and the pedi was as it had always been- fantastic. I got the mani with the gel polish that they said would last 2 weeks. Not 5 days later, the polish was peeling from my fingers. The manicurist cut my cuticles and it was bleeding and there was blood underneath the polish. I went back to ask for a refund and was told that if I was unhappy that I was not welcome in their salon. The service manager told me I had bad cuticles and that they did a perfect job. She said they only warranty their nail polish for 48 hours and so DON'T BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY IT WILL LAST 2 WEEKS. She was incredibly horrible at customer service and I told her that. I walked out saying that I'd never be back. I tried calling once to complain to the store owner only to find that the lady I spoke with in person was also the store owner. She said that she ""didn't want people who look like me in the store ever again"" and if I called ever again she would call the police and report my number. Wow. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER more

Worst Pedicure Ever 6/24/2011

Horrible service A very good friend of mine made reservations for her bridal party and herself (the bride) to have pedicures. The worst thing that happened while we were there happened to the bride. She was getting her manicure and the girl working on her nails messed up-she put some sort of chemical on at the wrong time and the bride's nails were all messed up. So, as someone else was fixing them she was burned 2 times and cut. When she told the manager that she didn't want to pay full price the manager got angry and said, ""No, you pay now!"" Well, the bride said she at least deserved a discount for their mistake and for making her late-like 50%. The manager said, ""10% discount, you pay and get out."" RUDE! From the moment we walked in the door we got dirty looks, the manager seemed angry, and the girls doing our nails were in a hurry. We had reservations so I don't think the manager could have been upset that there was so many of us, and there were not a lot of people waiting so I don't know why the girls worked so fast. It was the fastest pedicure I had ever had. Horrible service. I would never go there again. more

Horrible manicure 6/18/2011

when in for a manicure and walked out with my feet in the same state as when i walked in. The girl really did not buffer the dry skin off the bottom of my feet. When I asked her to buffer my heels and use the pumice bar again to remove the dead skin she refused and the manager of the salon Tiffiny refused to do anything to correct the situation. They are not interested in doing a good job. They are only concerned with charging for bad service. more

LIARS, RUDE, AND RIP-OFF 2/21/2011

Called and scheduled 4 appointments. All Mani/pedi. Was given a price and booked the appointments. We all arrived, and they walked us in and started our pedicures. It was amazing (not going to lie). They the all asked if we wanted a disign on out toe.Sure, why not? None of us have EVER been there. We did not know we were getting charged for 3 extra dropps of polish. The one girl didnt get ANY polish, and she wasn't given a credit, but we were charged for 3 drops. Then had the manicures. After that we were given out total. It was $12.00 more, per person, than we were originally told. She said we had the pedi spa, as oppose of just a pedi. NO ONE told us there were two different pedi's and two different prices. There are no prices posted ANYWHERE!! Its in a book behind their desk. They just went ahead, did service and charged us an arm and a leg for. When confronted and explained to then, that i called and talk to them. They were VERY rude to us, and kept saying, sorry, i told you thats what youre getting. No SHE NEVER told any of us, about any prices, we all got the same thing, assuming it was a price i was told over the phone. they rushed us to pick a polish and and took our hand, lead us to the back room and started. Totally took advantage of us!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK! more

The Best Nail Salon 1/22/2010

I've been to many nail salons around town and I can say that I have finally found THE ONE that does my nails the way I like it. I'm very picky on how they're done. I like the curved, square style and Andy, the owner is the best at what he does. He listens to you and makes sure that you are happy with his work. I highly recommend visiting his nail salon, its no wonder why he won the ""best nail salon in the city"" award. I'm definitely going back. Pros: Friendly service, great design, atmosphere Cons: No one playing the piano inside! more

Get nailed at Enso Nail Salon 12/1/2009

The prices are very reasonable. You also are treated to a complimentary beverage. The quality of the manicures, pedicures, and acrylic set is phenomenal. If you are looking for a relaxing place to get your nails done in a comfortable environment that DOES NOT stink like acetone or have acrylic dust floating around, THIS is the place. There are large plasma tv's facing the client and relaxing music in the background for you to truly relax while getting your nails done. I have tried different nail salons around Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto, and North Austin, this is by far my favorite. Pros: Clean, classy, reasonable more

Least painful brow wax ever! 12/1/2009

Obviously I've had my eyebrows waxed tons of times. They all varied from good to bad to horror movie. I think out of all the times I've gotten them done it's the least painful at Enso Nails. And my gosh are they thorough. I hate it when I leave and there's still strays here and there. They always take their time to do a wonderful job. And if I ever have anything to add the staff is so courteous to accommodate any adjustments I asked for. Best part? It's only $9 for an eyebrow wax. Absolutely cannot beat the level of service for that price. Pros: Affordable price, high quality service. more
