Been going to this restaurant since they opened their doors. First time I went I tried their beef enchiladas and have been hooked ever since. Fajitas are fantastic and their Mig...

Decided to check this place out since the parking lot always seem to be full of cars, and what a disappointment. below are the analysis of what we had: 1. Cheese enchiladas with ...

Bring ear plugs and thick skin 1/3/2008

Yes, the chicken fajitas are incredible. And the salsa is fresh and good. The parking lot is horrible with broken down stripped pickup trucks permanently installed. The hostess never speaks. The cashiers are absolutely the rudest and most unfriendly you will encounter anywhere in Austin! The serving staff is a mixed bag. Some of the ladies make you feel like you are a guest in their home and just couldn't be nicer. Some of the guys are just mouth breathing zombies with 5 second memories or they seem to go out of their way to ignore you. I refuse to be seated at certain waiters' tables! And DO NOT be seated in the smaller room with the bar unless you are deaf or have ear plugs. It's like an amplified echo chamber in there! I would suggest just calling in an order and picking it up to go, but that still involves having to deal with the cashiers, so I guess there's really no way to have an enjoyable dining experience no matter how good the fajitas. All that and no desserts! more

Enchiladas y Mas 3/26/2006

Wow, the fajitas here are so good and the service is so weird! From hosteses who greet every guest with a blank stare to waiters who contradict your drink order, the employees here are sometimes a puzzling lot. Family-run, with a lot of regulars, the place is family-friendly although it is busy and noisy with crowded waiting areas and nowhere for kids to run around. We have started ordering our food to go, which is working great for us... although I do miss the yummy (and strong!) margaritas. Outside of the fajitas, the rest of the menu is fairly typical and unexceptional Tex-Mex. more

I don't ever want to eat there again, but I love the fajitas!! 3/17/2006

Enchiladas y Mas has a lot dragging it down into the pits of despair. A filthy parking lot (like, a million cigarette butts) and outdoor waiting area. Unresponsive and confused wait staff. Hosts that look at you like they have been suddenly struck by amnesia and hallucinations. However, their fajitas are fantastic! Get the fajitas for two, they add serrano chilies that are super hot! Just order to go, and you're all set. BTW did I mention that it's really noisy, and all the high chairs have broken seat belts? more

Best Fajitas in Austin, TX 8/10/2005

We used to live right down the street from this place and boy was that dangerous!! We ate there alot because they have the best fajitas and enchilada around!! THey have a lunch special for $5.99 and you get 2 enchiladas rice and beans..pretty good deal. The place is small, so I suggest getting there at 11AM to get a good table for lunch. If you order the fajita plate for 1 ( about $9-10 includes fixings and sides) it is enough meat for 2 people to share..great deal!! Our favorite thing is the queso. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast and the food is excellent. more
