sorry i am very picky on food that i will eat ,so i dont go just anyplace .this place is good on food and service. Pros: food is allways fresh and rich Cons: need more staff on the floor in busy times more

great mediterranean turkish restaurant in town/ highly recommended in houston 4/7/2008

we started with large shappred salad -and cool mixed appetizers and a mixed grill which was including lamb sis,gyro,chicken kebab,and ground meat at the end our server offerd us some turkish tea .they also gave us some homemade turkish bread to take home.only negative thing service could be slow if they are over crowded. more

this place has been for my regular lunch place for almost every other day their lunch portions are big and delicious, and you can choose from regular menu as a lunch speacial. if anyone of you live close by should try a t least once. Pros: nice decor ,big windows ,tables with white table cloths . more

I really love the food and the service in this restaurant. The decoration is also warm and elegant. Everything they have on the menu is delicious. The owners are still the cooks which makes a lot of difference in the quality of food that's been served. Over all it is a great experience. Pros: Great food,service more

Excellent-Delicious Food and Sweets 2/20/2006

First time I and my wife tried the Empire Turkish Grill Restaurant in Houston, and we just felt like we ate at home(on mediterranean side-south of TURKEY), because the food and sweets were very delicious. Anyone plans to go to Houston should try the food in this restaurant. I and my wife highly recommend to visit the Empire Turkish Grill Restaurant. It is really a real ""Turkish Grill"". Pros: delicious food, perfect sweets, nice Turkish people Cons: so far none more

Great Find 3/7/2003

This is a great new Turkish restaurant on the West side of town. It is where the old Lantern Inn used to be. If you go on the weekend, it is wise to get a reservation, as the dining room fills up fast. The food is delicious and the waitstaff is very attentive and helpful. more

Seven months old, yet gracefully carries the feel of our all-time favourite restaurant. The Meze (combination cold-appetizer platter) is a must for starters. The freshly cut Shepherd Salad, and the hearty Lentil Soup are to die for. The variety of grills and sauteed dishes are no less than a feast, and the weekend Bass and Lamb-shank specials are what keep my mouth watering throughout the week. Don't missout on their $6.95 Lunch Special. Pros: friendly staff, fresh and rich food, healthy Cons: non-smoking, limited parking more
