Telluride is the most beautiful ski town in America we enjoyed very much! We were able to shop our last day and we visit Elinoff gallery OMY... I bought 4 Chagall prints in 2003 and have since found the signatures on these prints to be potentially fake. The Certificates of Authenticity issued me are from the National Arts Guild and signed by George Kopel issued June 7th 1988 . There is no information anywhere available on a National Arts Guild or on George Kopel. No phone # . No Address. Nothing. Only info i get traveling around the world to other galleries is that i have been taken! And indeed when i do some research all i find are stories on how these COA are a scam. Nice gallery though. Very convincing.\r Do your own research. The owner ,Neal , won't issue me a refund. His excuse: I waited too long.\r Well dear friends , that's because when you spend that kind of money, you want to believe! Unfortunately over time i have been laughed at when i show these prints to my collector friends or discuss them with other dealers on my world travels. Reputable dealers Know. The statements i make here are from my personal experience only. Do your own research. more

The nicest gallery we've ever seen 3/22/2009

The Elinoff has the nicest exhibit of fine art we've seen since traveling about the US and Europe. European masters include the big names. The kind of stuff you usually see only in museums. The jewelry collection contains pink diamond jewelry, yellow diamonds, chopard watches and one-of-a-kind stuff. Designer brands and some affordable stuff, too. Ask to speak with Deane when you're there. He owns the store with Neal, who I believe are co-owners. Deane is knowledgeable and is always there. Neal is really helpful and seems to know everybody in the jewelry business, or they know him. They have a great, local reputation because we've asked around a lot. But most of their business I'm told comes from out-of-towners. I believe it cause it's not the stuff of ski bums! We saw original Warhols, Picasso's, Degas, Klimpt and more than that! We bought a fantastic Chagall done in 1921 that was a ""bon-a-tire"" lithograph. We would buy jewelry there but I have a jeweler already. But if he dies or retires, we'll start buying with Elinoff. They are incredible. Highly recommended! Pros: Better than London, NY or LA. The best gallery anywhere Cons: out of the way, but worth the trip more
