I bought 4 Chagall prints in 2003 and have since found the signatures on these prints to be potentially fake. The Certificates of Authenticity issued me are from the National Arts Guild and signed by George Kopel issued June 7th 1988 . There is no information anywhere available on a National Arts Guild or on George Kopel. No phone # . No Address. Nothing. Only info i get traveling around the world to other galleries is that i have been taken! And indeed when i do some research all i find are stories on how these COA are a scam. Nice gallery though. Very convincing.\r
Do your own research. The owner ,Neal , won't issue me a refund. His excuse: I waited too long.\r
Well dear friends , that's because when you spend that kind of money, you want to believe! Unfortunately over time i have been laughed at when i show these prints to my collector friends or discuss them with other dealers on my world travels. Reputable dealers Know. The statements i make here are from my personal experience only. Do your own research.
