The decor of this place is sort of Pier 1/Cost Plus hodgepodge, with assorted African masks and Indian art thrown randomly together to create an ""exotic"" vibe. Whatever. We went to check out their shrimp specials. I had an Orange Shrimp dish that was a variation on General Tso's Chicken...the garlic and orange sauce was so sickly sweet that it tasted like it was made with Kool-Aid or HawaiianPunch. Portions were big, but it all tasted slightly canned, like the sauce was pre-made. Service was apathetic; there was a moderate crowd so we asked our waitress if she was busy. The response was an expressionless ""I hadn't noticed"". We got our food in due time, she checked with us once and that was it. Not a horrible experience but not much incentive to return, either.
Pros: Price, convenience, location
Cons: Mediocre food, indifferent service
