Elements replaced my leaking roof. The damage was much worse than I had thought. A lot under the shingled was rotten and needed to be replaced. Benjamin got everything looking great and under the price he quoted( never had that happen!) I found the company to be professional and have excellent craftsmen. Highly recommended! Elements roofing really helped me out of what could have been a bad situation. I had a old roof that needed to be replaced. It was bad when I bought the house but the seller wouldn't adjust the price. I love my house so I bought it anyway. I really have not had the money all at one time to get it replaced and I had my neighbor help me fix it a few times. I heard that Elements had a 1 year same as cash program with no interest and no payments. That was perfect for me. The roof was only $4275. My wife and I had been discussing the need to re-roof our house. Well finally I made the decision to pick the best of four local roofing contractors. We met with first contractor and that happened to be Ben C. from Elements Roofing. The man met me as I pulled into my driveway with a big smile and confidence that he would *earn my respect as well as my business. This he did as well as become a potential friend. He planned out our job completely and left nothing to chance. Thank God his company is doing this now before we risked one more Winter. Our roof hadn't been an issue yet..but when it finally did it would have cost an additional $50K in repairs to the inside of our home. We couldn't be more happy Ben and his crew are busy replacing all the rotted water soaked wood and everything else. Please call him and rest assured you'll never regret it!! I had a day of no rain so I thought I would climb up on my roof to look at where it was leaking. My wife told me to call someone instead of going up there myself. I should have listen! The old wood ladder broke on the 4 step causing me to fall. I got my senses back and called Elements Roofing. I met Benjamin on Sunday to give me an estimate. He showed up and got up on the roof and saw the problem. Benjamin told me he could fix the leak right away. I was so happy. He got it done and told me I had a few years left on my roof. I have been dealing with roofing problems ever since i bought this house 3 years ago. I have has no less than 4 companies trying to repair my roof. It still Leaked! I met Benjamin(Elements) through a neighbor who just had their roof replaced. It looked great. I was waiting to see how theirs turned out first. I made an appointment and they did a very complete estimate. The other companies that I dealt with never gave me more than a couple page estimate. Anyway, Elements came on time and had the whole roof completed in only 2 days. Their workers covered all my patio furniture and planters. When the finished everything looked perfect! Ben Crofut and Elements Roofing was hired to complete a large scale commercial re-roof project for our community this past March. The crews, under Ben's direction did a great job and were a pleasure through the whole construction period. The total job was in excess of $250k there were many period during the job in which Elements Roofing or Benjamin Crofut could have charged much more than they did. I wanted to get my roof replaced. It had been leaking and was patched several time by several companies ( none held) I looked at Elements and a few others. I checked all the references very closely. I found that they did the Japanese Gardens among others. That did it for me. I made an appointment (Quick for estimate but took a week the getting job started) and used their same as cash program. 1 year free money. WOW. My roof looks great and my neighbor is looking to have his done. I would recommend Elements Contracting to anyone. Pros: great references. Very good work. stayed on budget more

On Sat I made an appointment with Elements Roofing to come out and give me a quote on a roof replacement. Ben showed up on time and put together a very complete estimate. I liked that he was honest with me about the real costs (the wood under the shingles would probably need replacing). He gave me a price and as he was leaving the second estimator showed up in a VW. didn't even get on the roof! What a difference in the professionalism between the two companies, I called Elements back and hired them. If the estimate was any indication of the work that they do I'm sure I'll be happy! I contacted Elements to get an estimate for my rental. Ben Crofut showed up on time and had a very complete estimate to me right away. I had others but one was 50 pages long ( no joking) They were in the middle price wise, Ben assured me that the quality would be excellent. He was right. I had to wait for a few days for the downpour to stop but they finished on time and it look fantastic. now all my neighbors are jealous! Thanks ! Elements Roofing did a re-roofing job for and did not pay the supplier. The supplier put a lien on our property and we were forced to pay off the supplier even though we had paid Elements in full. Since then, Ben has done nothing but lie about when they would pay us back.. So now the only people to profit from this will be the lawyers. Elements was overpaid by over $3000 on a job based on simultaneous funding coming in from a mfg.(GAF ELK thru EnerBank) sponsored loan that went directly to them, as well as personal check from me. They committed in writing and numerous times verbally to refund me the overpayment as soon as the loan money was deposited into their account. It has been 4 weeks since they received funds and I still have not been paid back. I have filed with the CCB,the BBB, The Oregon Dept. of Justice Consumer Protection Division and have an attorney helping me to try and get my money back. They made multiple promises and did not keep them. Very black and white, in essence they have stolen $3000 plus from me. Looks lke it will be headed to court. We hired Benjamin Crofut of Elements Roofing earlier this year to complete a re-roof on our project. We were very pleased, so pleased in fact we brought them out to the Oregon Coast to complete work on our summer home. We wish we had called Elements Contracting first. They came out and completely re-roofed our coast home. Ben Crofut and the Elements crew has a wide range of roofing and renovation knowledge.
