Elements Roofing

I met Benjamin through a friend at the club. I mention to him that we were having some moister and drainage problem with our roof. He came out to take a look at the problem. He explained to me that it was a simple repair and should take only a few hours. Ho provided me with pictured of the damage for my insurance company. He worked me up a written quote just to outline the scope of the work. 2 days later Elements came out got working. They did a great job with the repair and fixing my gutters. Ben met me that afternoon and we settled up. I ended up paying him what he quoted me and additionally he gave me a warrantee. Elements and Benjamin were very professional and a joy to have a contracting company. more

My friend told me about Elements. I have had this constant leak for the last 3 weeks and couldn't take it. I called 2 other companies but Elements was the first who answered the phone. I spoke to Charlotte(??) and she made an appointment for me. On Thursday Benjamin came out to my house to look at the leak problem. He told me that it was an easy fix and could have someone come on Friday and fix it. I was soooo relieved. On Friday, two guys came to my house at 9:30 and the got right to work. They were finished by 3:00. I met Benjamin to pay the bill. He only charged me 455.00 to fix my leak. Had I known it was going to be so cheap I would have not let it have gone on for so long. Super company! more

I called Elements to fix a repair that was done by another ""reputable"" Lake Oswego roofer. I tried several times to have the original contractor warrantee their work but they kept blowing me off. Finally I called Elements. I had met the owner before and he seemed to be knowledgeable about flat roof repair. He met me at my house and inspected the roof with me. He showed me how the previous contractor failed to slope it properly and that the seams were facing the wrong direction for the water flow. He agreed to fix it. He sent 5 guys and they had it repaired in under 5 hours. I appreciate watching how it was done and they really kept my yard free of debris. Ben also offered me advice on how to deal with the other roofing company. I appreciated that! They are a very pro company! more

Elements did a great job on my roof repair and gutter addition. They were on time, clean, and I felt I got a very fair price. I would recommend them to anyone. more

I have suffered with a leaking roofing for almost a month. We were having my in-laws over for the holidays. I was forced to get it fixed at least temporarily. I saw Elements sign on my way to work for some time and I thought I'd just stop in. The office manager was very polite and told me that Ben could take a look at it but the schedule was full till after the 1st. I felt discouraged but I met with the owner Ben later that day. He inspected it and let me know that it would be about 600 for the repair. He said he could to it after Christmas. I explained to him my problem with timing and he said he could get someone over right away. He also said that he had some extra supplies that he would donate at no charge. I felt truly humbled. His crew came out and finished my roof even though it was dark. Ben came by after it was finished and wouldn't accept the payment. He told me to pass it on and Merry Christmas. I am from the East coast and this kind of stuff never happens.WOW all I can say! more

My wife and I just purchased a home in Beaverton for our daughter. It was a bank owned home and it was ""As is"". When we were able to get into it we saw water damage throughout the house. We called 4 companies for quotes on the repair and the price varied wildly. We took the middle quote of Elements roofing of Lake Oswego. They showed up on time and finished almost on time. There were more issues that needed to be resolved when they took the shingles off. I felt that they treated me fairly with the additional repairs. The price went up with additions but my daughter now has a leak free home. I would recommend them as a professional fair contractor. more

I contacted Elements because my gutters were not working properly. The water was seeping into my home and I could see it from the bedroom. I spoke with the owner Ben. He came out to look at it and tell me the price. He got up there and took photos for me so I could see the damage. He told me that he could fix the gutter problem while he was here but I would need new wood where the damage was done. He fixed the gutter and I made a time that I could be there to do the rest of it. He and 2 guys showed up and had the repair finished in 4 hours. Ben gave me a name of a drywall and paint guy to fix the bedroom. I liked the way the company presented itself and I felt that the repair was a fair price. more

We just moved into our new home last week only to have our dining room fill with water. It was apparent that the sellers just painted over the leak(nice). I called around to find a company who would not charge us for an estimate and treat us right. We call several companies but we were not impressed. Elements was the first company that a person answered( good first step). Ben(owner) came over to give me an estimate within 2 hours. He told me that he could have it repaired by the next day. His people got here at 7:30 and by 9 it was done. Ben charged me less than he quoted by $119.00. and gave me a credit toward a replacement roof. Our experience was very positive with this company. more

I had Elements to my roof repair and repair my gutters. They did not overcharge me ( I had 5 estimates) and I really liked the owner Ben. He was forthright about the cost and what to expect. Everything looked as it should and the workers covered all my yard furniture while doing the job. One worker was just there to make sure everyone was working safely. That impressed me! I want to write about my experience with Elements Roofing out of Lake Oswego. I selected them based solely off their good reputation. I travel and have to be away at a moments notice. I called their office and set an appointment ( I was impressed that a human answered) Ben came over and put a great estimate together for my roof replacement. He was honest that he thought it might run more if the wood decking needed replacement. I was happy that he told me up front instead of after starting the job. I told him that I would like the first available time slot and gave him a deposit. They were scheduled for two days later. I was ready. The rain started and I got pushed off another 2 days. I had to leave on call trust that they would be honest with me. I gave Ben my email and told him to send pictures of the roof once they removed the shingles. He did just that! I could see that the wood needed to be replaced. He emailed me the change papers and I faxed them back. I was so happy to return to an beautiful roof. I went with the Certainteed and I thought it was a good choice. My yard was left perfect and I came home to no surprises. I would recommend them! more

I walked into Elements last week to get an estimate for my garage to be fixed. I t was nice to come to an office and see that they are a real company. I have been scammed before by people working from a hotel room. The owner came out and gave me a very complete estimate with pictures. The price was fair and he said he could finish it by Friday. They showed up on Thursday morning and had it done by that afternoon. The garage looks great. I will use them again when it is time to do my house. more

I was looking for someone to fix my roof. Being a single mom it is hard not to get taken. I was referred to Elements from a friend at church. I met with the owner Ben crowfoot(???) He was very polite and explained that he could just recondition my roof instead of putting a new one on. It saved me about 6000 dollars! He did the work in a day and gave me a warranty. I'm thankful there are still honest people out there . more

Elements patched my roof. It was not a big job but I needed it done. Ben did the fix 400 less than another Lake Oswego roofer. They did a great job and left my yard as it was before. more

We hired Elements to replace my roof. The repair staff was very friendly and professional. They even have a guy who just keeps my yard clean! The cost was less than the price they told me. I had Elements fix my leak yesterday. They showed up on time and went right to work. It took only 40 min to stop the leak and put my mind at ease. The owner Benjamin was really informative and did not try to sell me on a new roof. I was happy he was honest and he gave me a great price. I couldn't fix it myself. Elements repaired my leak last week and was under the price that was quoted. I was ready for a new roof but Ben said that I could go a couple of years more without it. Money is hard to come by and I'm happy I will have more time to save. I would use them again and I would recommend them to my neighbors. Pros: Honest, on time, pleasant. Wasn't pushy more
