the butcher shop here is the best. they cut the meat any way you want it. and you get to see them do it, so you know it is clean and fresh. they go through a lot of meat here too. the lines are usually pretty long, and it doesnt matter what time of the day you come in here. the bakery rocks. the french bread will make you come back if the meat doesnt. they also have a really small deli. and they offer hot dinners to go also. more

The best thing here is the butcher shop. Fresh meat, cut to order. Their meat counter is always busy. So please be prepared to take a number and wait a few extra minutes. It is worth your wait. They run awesome deals such as boneless skinless chicken breast for under a buck a pound. And ground burger for $1.50 or less. Amazing prices. The quality of the meat is unsurpassed in Milwaukee. They also have a bakery and a deli. Their French bread is the softest around. And extremely addicting. If you like empanadas.. you have to go here. The cream cheese ones are awesome. The produce selection is varied and the prices are a lot less than the typical grocers of this area. Parking is not terrific. Slanted parking on a hill, and low parking full of water when it rains. But the deals to be found here more than make up for the parking. more

El Rey is a great place to shop for mexican foods. they offer authentic products that you can not find in larger grocery stores. they have a wide offering of their own products that are fantastic. their chips and tortillas are wonderful. plus it is nice to support a local company that provides such high quality products. more

This is nearly the only place we go for the purchasing of meats and authentic Mexican foods. They have a real butcher shop/counter. The deals and specials here are about half the price of the local chain grocery stores. They have one entire aisle of nothing but beans and spices. You can make some really good food if you shop here. more
