We purchased our 2007 equinox from el dorado and have been loyal customer ever since, until today. My wife took the car in for an engine miss and after keeping the car all day and $450 worth of repairs she got a call that the car was not repaired and the plugs and wires would have to be changed for an additional $465. I called them and asked why was it so much to change the wires and plugs and Anita, the service rep stated that is what it said in their book and after further questioning stated that the labor charge was $50 a spark plug. I asked if they had to pull the engine to change the plugs. We wrote off the $450 in unnecessary repairs and took it to affordable automotive in McKinney and the car was repaired for $250. Will never return to Eldorado Chevrolet for service or any new automobile purchases. I hope they enjoy the $450 because it is the last dime they ever receive from the Reilly's. Definitely will not recommend to anyone. more

Horrible experience. Salesman pulled out four square sheet on me with intent to confuse me. Salesman only wanted to talk about payments and not price - another red flag. Instead of being forthright, he insisted I tell him what I wanted to pay each month, and when I did, he raised his voice at me, and then he ganged up with the sales manager and they all berated me for picking the wrong payment. more

Easy! 5/10/2012

Rod and all of the staff at El Dorado made the experience VERY easy. (Particularly Rod) In general, I believe customers view the car buying experience as a tremendous hassle and we prepare ourselves for frustration and a game of smoke and mirrors. I experience nothing of the sort when working with Rod and the team at El Dorado Chevrolet. I am Chevy fan through and through. I knew my next truck would be a Chevy. Rod kept it honest and simple. He was VERY patient with all my questions in person and on the phone. He made it very clear his most important concern was making sure the truck I purchased was one I would be satisfied with. I went round and round on which truck to buy. The combination of many factors lead to me buying my dream truck. 2500 HD Diesel. I absolutely love it. I will be back to El Dorado for accessories, service, and more vehicles to come. more

Great Service!!!! 1/3/2012

The service I received was far better than I expected. I live in Baton rouge and the services were needed and provided while we were visiting our son in the Dallas area. The transmission went out. My car was originally at the Stonebriar Chevy Dealership and because of the poor customer service there I had my car towed to El Dorado for service. El Dorado did more in one hour than Stonebriar did in a day and a half. El Dorado quickly identified the work was under warranty whereas; Stonebriar was focusing on looking at coverage under my Extended Warranty Services. In one hour at El Dorado we were in a rental car. At Stonebriar, we could get a rental car because after having our car for a day and a half they had not identified the problem. The service rep, Peter Mueller at El Dorado was simple outstanding. He also advised me how to seek reimbursement for the towing which I followed and was reimbursed. more
