As a single mom who works full-time and goes to school full-time, Eat Out In has saved me time and time again. I love to entertain, but sometimes don't want all the hoopla that goes with venturing out (i venture out enough every day!!) more

I love to entertain, but sometimes don't want all the hoopla that goes with venturing out (i venture out enough every day!!) Eat Out In allows me to entertain my guests in the comfort of my own home without having to slave in the kitchen. Whether it's casual dining arrangements, like Fire Bowl or Quiznos, or a little more, like Bombay Bistro or PF Changs, Eat Out In always has me covered. I have recommneded them to many and will continue to do so! more

My gf and I used to order from here alot -- at times a couple times a month. The concept is awesome, very convenient, and the extra cost isn't terrible. BUT The last time I ordered the driver kept the receipt -- a move that made my ears perk up, but I let it go and made a mental note to keep an eye on the transaction. When the payment cleared, the total was $4-5 more than I recalled, so I called them and spent all morning working through it. They sent me copies of my past 4 receipts and after looking them over it was obvious (to me at least) that the driver had created a new receipt, gave himself double the tip and used the carbon paper to forge my signature. Although in the end they refunded me $4 (heh, thanks), the worst part of the experience is that a person I assume is the owner implied I was lying on my Yelp review warning others of what happened and took absolutely no responsibility for their employee. more

It's a really good delivery service that only goes to the best restaurants that Austin provides! Despite the fact that it's really affordable, they were shockingly prompt and very courteous! Great Idea if your chilling at the house and have had a load of apple martini""s!!! lol.. more

Love This Service! 11/5/2010

Eat Out In is the best concept ever - I can enjoy my favorite local restaurants like Chuy's, Galaxy Cafe, & County Line from the comfort of my own home. You can't beat that! Ordering online is easy and it sure beats ordering a pizza. If you haven't tried this service you are missing out. Also, I've heard that they even offer catering services. Can't wait to have Chuy's instead of a sandwich tray at my next social function. more

I have ordered through Eat Out In for both home food delivery and catering. They deliver from the best restaurants in town and their customer service is excellent. Their staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and they make ordering very easy, especially when it comes to planning a catering event. Ordered from Cannoli Joes. The order showed up 15 minutes earlier than I was told. Yummy food, was still hot and delivery driver was helpful with set-up. Defintely will order again! Pros: Great choices at a economic price more

Really really terrible and unreliable 2/27/2009

Two days in a row the order was messed up. First day - two hours late - restaurant had food ready, the delivery guy just didn't pick it up on time. Soggy fries and cold soup. Yuck Pros: Saves time if they actually show up Cons: unreliable, very undependable, not worth it more

Yuck Next day they didn't even place the order. After receiving a confirmation of the order saying it would be delivered at noon, we called at 12:20. They hadn't even placed the order with the restaurant. Starving, unhappy people. We will NEVER use this service again. Pros: Saves time if they actually show up Cons: unreliable, very undependable, not worth it more

I have been ordering from this place for about a year now (i don't know why)...sometimes i just want a nice meal without having to go out. Besides the fact that they charge you a delivery fee of like 6-7 dollars, they expect to receive a generous tip and if you don't give them what they like..they throw your money in your face...yes this happened to me, and the funny part is i was getting ready to give him an $8 tip. I called and talked to the "dispatcher" and she apologized but I did not receive any kind of discount, etc. But that was okay. Yesterday I ordered again and the meal was $50. The delivery boy had only $10 in change and could not work with what I had. I do not have enough money in my account so I over drafted writing them a check that the dispatch boy just whined about over the radio. They said they HAVE to deposit it today, although it wasn't my fault and I told them I didn't have to take the food. Only dine here if you are paying with credit card and have plenty of money to waste on little fees they throw in and greedy delivery guys. Pros: Nice food at home without cooking Cons: Bad Service, Extra Fees, Long wait more

We were sick of ordering pizza and some of the other places that do deliver wouldn't deliver to our area. We have been ordering thru Eat Out In for the last month. I think there service is great. The food is always hot when it arrives nothing is smashed or leaking. The wait time is a little long but we don't mind. We know this so we just order about an hour or so before we want to eat. I luv the restaurant selections they give us and the delivery fee I feel is more than fair. I won't ever order from anyone else. Thank You Eat Out In for coming up with this concept. There are alot of people like hadicapped and elderly that are unable to get out. So this is Great!!!! more
