Easy Music Center

I went in looking for an Ovation Guitar while my wife was upstairs having her eyes checked. After 15 minutes and not a single salesperson had the time to talk to me or even acknowledge me, I then left went to the store next to them for a coffee and to pick-up my wife. When I came back they had my car "TOWED". When I went back in to ask if they new what happen to my car, all of a sudden I had everyones attention. The manager said it is their parking only spaces, even thought it was not marked where I was parked and I told the manager that I was in there earlier looking at the guitars, his answer was "You didn't buy anything so you were not a customer". That is just the right thing to say to tell everyone about future sales or customers. more

. I think it's strange that the only other review on this store is by pddods, and the store owners name is Peter Dodds. These are supposed to be honest reviews from customers. The truth is there is a number of good music stores on the island, but Easy Music is not one of them. more

Easy Music Center has unbelieveable deals. Generally, they match or beat the internet on just about everything. It is impossible to find another musical instrument store in Hawaii that is so competitive on price. Things have really improved since the management change last year, and I was surprised to see how much more inventory they have now. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They have the widest selection of merchandise in Hawaii. It is the only one stop shop in the islands. You can find guitars, ukuleles, PA Sounds Systemes, drums keyboards mics etc... It is a pleasure to shop there, and I am glad we have a store like this in Hawaii. Pros: Price/Service/Selection/Parking more

They have a lot of guitars and mainstream music. They also have a lot of stuff for wind intruments. Very little in terms of all the string intruments. They do have a nice collection of music and just accessories. They have guitars in the shop, though I wouldn't trust the knowledge of the employees. You really have to know what you are looking for in this place. However, they have really nice swap meet type events where you can find some good deals. more

Easy Music Center has a large selection of instruments ranging from guitars to electronic keyboards to drum sets. All of the instruments they sell are of high quality. The brands that they sell include Yamaha, Roland, and Selmer. The employees are very knowledgeable of their products. If you go there, you may find their process to be very high, but they are for good reason. Although it is pricey, look for their ads which appear regularly in MidWeek. more

Its not like Guitar Center or other large mainland music stores but for Hawaii its relatively large not as small as some places. Its got the usual assortment of some amps and Fenders on the wall as well as keyboards and pa systems etc there unlike some really small mom and pop stores here. So in terms of selection one of the better stores in hawaii. Prices are avg ranging from decent to high which is normal in Hawaii. Its often fairly crowded there and you can find various small accessories there unlike many small music stores here such as pedals, amp and guitar parts. more
