This company saved the day when the smell I hired them to figure out in my home turned out to be a full-blown rat infestation in the crawl space. The team cleaned it out and put me on a plan to keep the critters OUT. This was over 5 years ago, and my home is still rat free. Great company to do business with. Would recommend them anytime. more

I've been using Eastside Exterminators since 2008. I called them after experiencing a terrible infestation of what I call ""Suger Ants"" they were horrific and everywhere! Since using them I have not had a problem with any ant, or bug in that matter (not even spiders!) entering my home. I'm set up for a quarterly spray and it works perfectly! The Tech is very kind and courtesy and is careful when he is out here. I've never had a problem and don't forsee any in the future, as long as I live in his home I will continue to use Eastside Exterminators. I would recommend them highly. more

A friend recommended Eastside Exterminators to me and I am telling you first hand they are just fantastic to do business with. Very professional, free estimates and they follow through with what they tell you. The employees that I have dealt with are just wonderful, they answer your questions and concerns with the up most care. I had a rat problem in my crawl space under my house and had a total evaluation of my home that meant some closing of areas that the rats could be getting into under the house. I had actually two different types of rats and I can honestly say that in the two years, so far, that they have not returned under my house. I now have rat bait boxes and have continued with the service that Eastside provides. Because of the rodent problem under the house I again asked for some help in what to do with cleaning up the compromised and contaminated crawl space. I had Eastside come out and totally clean up the underneath of the house and put new insulation on the ducts. All is well under the house!!! I have had several ""rat motels"" (bait stations) installed around my residence for quite some time. Every three months, Steve from Eastside Exterminators comes around and services them. This is one of the best investments I have. It has virtually eliminated the rat problem, persuading those nasty rodents to pass the word (before they expire) to stay away from my yard. We HAD rodent issues. The first time we used another well known exterminator company. We thought we were rid of them only to be greatly disappointed. That's when we found Eastside Exterminators. It did initially cost us more than the first company & rightly so, as the first company didn't do the thorough job that needed to be done, so we now had to repair the all damage done by the rodents.The first company only did the bare minimum compared to Eastside. There was A LOT of other things that Eastside did to prevent them from coming back into our garage, which by this time, they had destroyed. If we would have used Eastside the first time, it would have been a much lesser expense & hassle. The rodents even got under the hood of my car that had been parked in the garage & I now had repair cost of $900.00 added to the cost. We have them on a 3 month plan to come back to service our bait boxes. We have NEVER even seen a rodent since, as they feed from the boxes & eventually die. They are still around, as they are everywhere in Seattle, but we don't have to worry that they will try to come inside anymore because of the excellent job they did 3 years ago. I appreciate their prompt service & they are always ready to answer my questions & have educated me on things I never really wanted to know about the habits of rodents. The continued friendly good service we receive from them is a bonus. more

After purchasing an older home, we found carpenter ants had taken up residence in our porch (not pressure treated wood). We called Eastside and they sprayed outside our home and treated the inside as well--just in case they had penetrated. They've been coming quarterly to spray the exterior as a preventative measure--ants are gone! We are emailed with a date a few days before they arrive and they've never been late--they are reliable.\r \r We had yellowjackets building a nest in our bedroom wall and I'm allergic. We discovered them late on a Saturday and when we called Eastside and told them of the issue and my allergy they squeezed us in. Walt showed up, donned his bea gear and used a powder then sprayed. He said it was good he came out because the yellowjackets were particularly aggressive.\r \r We've recommended them on several occasions and we are still happy with their work--16 years later! more

When the high school tore down some buildings, the surrounding houses were overrun with rats. I had multiple estimates for a job to insulate the crawlspace and eliminate rats that had moved into the garage and were frequently seen on the property. EE was the most expensive estimate but it was also the most thorough approach to the problem. With some initial hassles, it turned out to be a good job and the ongoing service has been reliable and effective. Without the initial problems getting the job going, I'd rate a full star higher. Not sorry I went with them in the end. My neighbors went with some of the other companies I had estimates from and they still have rat problems. more

I have used Eastside Exterminators for over 15 years now. \r I have a fear of Spiders and they have been spraying outside regularly on a monthly basis.\r They have polite and courteous people that work for them. They call the day prior as I have 2 dogs and they need to let me know they are coming so that I can keep the dogs in. One time I had a sugar ant infestation in my kitchen and they promptly solved that issue for me. No Ants have been seen since.\r I can recall summers where friends have more spiders than usual and I have had none. I will continue to use them and I think that their rates are comparable to other businesses that do the same type of Insect Control.\r more

i have used eastside exterminators for a few different jobs. i find the men who come out to do the work excellent, but i had a bad experience with an office girl with the first job they did for us. we paid up but she was angry with me because she said we didn't and told me, not asked, that i had to send a copy of our cashed cheque to them. i told her i didn't have to do anything because we had proof we paid and it was up to her to figure her own problem out.\r i have used them two more time because the guys are great, good personalites and i am very happy with the work they do. more

I filled out the online form on the company website. I explained the problem (possibly mice in crawl space) and submitted it. I never received a phone call or email from Eastside Exterminators letting me know that they had even received my request.\r Since it was near Xmas, I thought that hey, maybe the company is taking a few more days off, so I called and left a message asking them to call me. I never heard back from them. My thought is that if a customer is giving you thebenefit of the doubt and is contacting you twice... then return the call! My summation of this experience is that they must not have needed my business. more

My husband & I discovered carpenter ants and some other unidentifiable insect in our home and wanted to have a local pest control company take care of it. Eastside Exterminators had a much lower estimate than Terminex & another company we looked at. They quickly sent Rob who informed us that drilling wasn't necessary to eradicate the ants (thank goodness) and he sprayed inside & outside the affected area. The buggers immediately began fleeing! He identified the other larvae as carpet beetles, which he treated for as well. It's been a few months since his visit and we're still pest-free! Eastside charges for estimates to the tune of $200 - don't get stuck like I did. Not only did I have to pay for the inspection but the pest control and clean up was going ot cost $3,000!\r I'm getting second opinions from Willards Pest Control and Eagle Exterminators, estimates at both places are free. Cons: Expensive and estimates cost $200+ more
