East Ridge Pizzeria Restaurant

Pizza in this entire area is poor. I eaten from East RIdge since I was about 8 years old, back in the 70s. It normally is very close to NYC pizza; thin, soft crust. Lately I order xtra cheese just to get a normal amount of cheese and it still does not reach the crust like it used to. There is a one inch gap of red sauced dough, then the crust. Really skimpy on toppings lately. Also, when you order, you are told either 10min or 15min depending how busy they are. I note the time and arrive 30min later and it still isnt even in the oven (normally when son Luis is on). He gets overwhelmed very easily. The full time Mexican/South Am?? guy is a phenomenal pizza maker and treats the place like its his. I pray I get him when I order (at least once a week). more

I've lived in Willingboro since 1968 and have been going to East Ridge since it's opening in the early 70's. Always loved the pizza there. Recently, the quality and service have seriously gone down the drain though. The owner cooks less and his son (Louis) is running the joint into the ground. Burnt pizza bottoms after burnt pizza bottoms; 45 min waits for a pie, skimpy toppings, really POOR customer service. Too bad.. I would have frozen the old East Ridge Pizzeria forever... Now I go to Gaetanos down the road and Pepperonis Pizza. (And its better) And you have NOT had East coast cheesesteaks til uve had an 8lb MINI cheesesteak from Gaetanos!! Puts Philly to shame. (The Large is over a foot) You wont finish a MINI. Pros: If you are lucky enough to get the Latin chef, u may be okay. Cons: Burnt pizza crusts, Extremely rude, poor customer service from Louis. I love cheesesteaks and I've sampled all the famous places in the Philadelphia area. However, this place definitely holds its own with the likes of John's Roast Pork and Steve's. Do yourself a favor and make a special trip. The pizza is also very good, which considering the quality of pizza in Philadelphia, may be worth the trip alone. Pros: Great food, good service. I recently moved to philly , but by far is east ridge the best pizza. My whole family has been going there for an estimated 20 years. Well never stop coming ! So friendly too Pros: nothings changed about there pizza for as long as i remember Cons: not one in philly , just kidding more

Best pizza anywhere. Nick makes the best thin crust and their sauce is great too. I always order extra sauce. Home made soups are good too. Can't beat their prices. There is a reason they are so busy on Friday nights. Pros: great food, inexpensive, next to a bank! Cons: very busy on Friday n, busy at lunch, word is getting out more
