Back Facial 10/13/2011

I am a regular customer 4-5 times per year. I always have a back facial. Heather was my therapist for this visit. She was excellent. She spoke in a soothing tone and asked a few appropriate questions to get an understanding of any special needs. I appreciated the personal touch. Great service, Great relaxation! more

I have been a member since 2004 best has gotten better over the years. Becky is a gem to the Dubunne Spa. The ladies at the front desk to the hostess that brings our drinks or robes to making sure that we have everything that Dubunne has to offer very pleasant and smiling. Hidden Treasure in Torrance. Rates are very good for the servioe that they provide, my family has brought me gift cards to make my day for that I am glad. Sitting in the garden sipping cool lemon water is bliss to my mind, and body. Thank you all for what you do. Steam room, suana, Japanesse style bathe, out door massages, blissful to over the top de-stress when you walk out of the door. more

Awesome Spa! 10/12/2011

DuBunne is the ultimate spa. I got a facial and a massage last Sunday and also enjoyed the steam room and Ofora tub. I felt amazing afterwards! Everyone at DuBunne is very accomodating. more

In comparision to other places, DuBunne isn't quite as chic or centered. When it comes to massages though, that was one of the best I've had in a long time. more

Great Facial 10/3/2011

I visit Dubanne Spa on a monthly basis but decided to treat my self to a facial on this visit. I had the deep pore cleanse and it was GREAT! I received compliments all day on how great my skin looked. Thanks Carol, you're the BEST! more

On my most recent visit I was disappointed that there was a woman there and she was on her cell phone and being really loud while others were trying to relax and nothing was said to her by your staff. Also the scalp massage I had was just ok. more

last minute booking 9/23/2011

My husband had taken the kids out and I found myself alone and with nothing to do! It only took me 5 minutes to get to DuBunnes after booking my appointment. I was so happy they had an opening! Jenny did such a great job in bringing back a healthy glow to my skin. Too much sun took its toll, but her recommendations on products were spot on. I can't wait for another "free" moment to come back! more

Relief of Stress 9/13/2011

Walked into the door of DuBunne drained of energy and lack of real sleep for the past 7 days. Becky is my requested staffer - after the body scrub and then finishing with a massage. Went out the doors revived and de-stressed. This location is a hidden treasure. Appointments are easy to make on line or telephone or in person if you are in the area. LOVE this place and the staff personnel A++++ more

Good massage and facilities 9/13/2011

I had an appointment for a Swedish massage and scalp massage. The Swedish was good, but felt rushed. The scalp massage was very nice, although I would have liked to have known about the peppermint oil beforehand (I only knew about the Moroccan oil) as it was a bit overpowering. I then enjoyed the steam room and shower (love the exfoliating body washes, would prefer no eucalyptus in the steam room). more

My experience last Saturday was worth the drive in the rain. For the last two years I used the local day spas near my residence, but after Saturday I'm adding DuBunne back into my routine. I would like to thank Cherish for providing me a calm, relaxing experience. The only regret I had after it was done was only purchasing a hour session. more

    The treatment area's elegant decor--fountains, warm candlelight, wicker furniture--immediately instills a sense of peace. Golden hues inspire calm and prepare patrons for serious pampering. The immaculate locker room offers a plethora of amenities, from razors to hair products. In addition to cushy robes, the spa offers disposable panties and terry gowns to wear beneath robes for the modest.

    The Service
    The Napa Valley Escape delivers one-and-a-half hours of opulence: First, you're exfoliated with mud-like mixture containing grapeseed extract, then "baked" in a thermal wrap; a scalp massage leads into 20 minutes of cocooned quiet, followed by a relaxing bath in a whirlpool tub tinted pink from rose oil. Afterward, a 30-minute massage is expertly rendered by gentle, but firm hands. During the Visibly Smoother Facial, the esthetician constantly monitors comfort, massaging hands and feet and quietly talking you through the light peel and cleansing. Skin glows, if only for a day.
