Great place to go after work. I've been here several times, I've always had great service and i love trying...

Worst

The sushi is incredibly bad. The drinks were imaginative, I'll give them that, but the food is horrible. I rice was dry and the fish bland. Cheap does not mean good value. If ...

happy hour heaven 8/22/2002

I made dinner reservations on a Friday night before I knew about happy hour. Wish I would've skipped the dining room and went straight over to the bar! They've got great prices on sushi, and the drinks are good too. Only one drawback - the place is pretty small so you have to get there early to get a table. Pros: inexpensive Cons: not much parking more

OK If You'll Wait 8/7/2002

The food was good(we ordered sushi and the rolls were loosely wrapped, but still tasty). The excruciating part was the wait to be seated, the wait to order, the wait to receive our food... getting the point? On a late Monday night, this isn't what I expect. Too bad the service took away from the overall dining experience. Pros: atmopshere Cons: service more

Wow!!! 7/26/2002

I visited portland last weekend, and stayed at paramount hotel in downtown portland. I was not feeling like eating asian food, but it was on first floor of the hotel. So, I tried anyway. It was a wonderful experience. Food are great, service are great, fun, reasonable price for downtown. I definetely come back to the restaurant when I go to portland next time. more

Great Dim Sum Brunch! 6/27/2002

We decided to try the dim sum brunch at the Dragonfish Asian Cafe before the matinee at the Fox Towers -- what a treat! A great value -- for under $10, it was more food than I could eat! And a great selection to choose from. The service was friendly, knowlegable and efficient; overall, my friends and I all agreed it's a TEN. Pros: Great Selection, Good Value, Friendly Service Cons: Only on Weekends more

Great place to start 6/9/2002

While the rest of the Gresham crowd clamoured for elephant ears or a date with a sailor, my girlfriend and I started an evening in town at the Dragonfish. The services was very good and I must say entertaining, he had us laughing thought the meal. We shared a couple appetizers and main dished which we quite enjoyed. The carmalyzed chicken was great and I really enjoyed the coconut cod. The asparagus beef was my girlfriends favorite, but I found the noodles tough and stuck together and too much of the sauce missed the beef leaving it bland. Overall, we very much enjoyed our meal and plan to start a few more evenings there in the future. Pros: appetizers Cons: close quarters more
