Sketchy Customer Service 10/4/2006

Dish Network provides a great service. I have had them for over a year now and I love the options they have and all the great packages that they offer. BUT I absolutely HATE their customer service. The operaters over at Dish Network are hard to talk to and very hard to understand. I get the feeling that they are in one of those remote service centers (i.e - international, outsourced places). It is so hard to communicate with them and getting one small thing done can take several phone calls. If you want good customer service, then Dish Network is not the thing for you! more

Dish Network----- hmmmm 3/31/2006

While I enjoy watching my favorite shows and some of the many channels we recieve, I find that the customer service of this company is somewhat lacking. When they came to install our dish- the man was not dressed appropriatly and had apparently not done this often as it took him TWELVE hours to install 2 dishes and two recievers! We have outages all the time, and most often cannot order pay per view as there is now something wrong with our satelite that is still under warranty and they want to charge us for a repair even though we purchased the extra warranty so we would not have to pay... I love the programing I just wish the customer service was as good.... more
