Scary place to work 3/17/2011

Years and years and years ago, I worked for these guys. They hired me in training to run my own store, with promises of various perks 30-days into employment. 30 days comes and goes...I ask about the MIA benefits. I then get informed that they're giving the job to someone else, and I will NEVER get benefits. I point out my employment agreement...and am screamed at the GET OUT NOW!!! In front of customers no less. I asked what the reason for firing me was...I was told I was fired for ""asking for what they pledged in a contract. Contracts aren't binding."" Wow. Later, I tried to get warranty service on an item that I bought while employed there...they had me thrown out and said they wouldn't honor the warranty (that's actually illegal I might add). Overall, shady as heck. Don't know if the chain management even knew about all this, as that store location bellied-up. I'll probably never know if it was just a crazy-person running that store or if the chain is like that. Oh well. I sure won't shop there. more

Unprofessional, Incompetent & Uncommunicative 8/25/2010

I purchased a larger hard drive for my lap top from these guys and told them I wanted to clone my old drive for fear of losing music files, etc. They suggested Acronis. I purchased the software and did everything they recommended but was unsuccessful in doing it myself, so I handed it over to them and agreed to pay a much higher fee to expedite the process. more

I have taken my laptops here for years. I have always been happy with the service that I receive from Wally and Mike. Make sure that you call before you bring your computer in to see how busy they are and a time approximation to get your work done- sometimes they are really busy and if you can wait for a better day then you will be without for a shorter time period. I have never purchased a computer from here, so I can't attest to that. Pros: Honest, Fair and Willing to Answer Questons Freely more

Worst service EVER 8/13/2009

In May I took my computer in because it was very slow. I was willing to buy a new one, but the service department convinced me to have a virus scan and add some memory. They told me that the scan takes 7 days and that my computer would be done as soon as the computers that were being scanned were done. It took three weeks to get it back!!! And it wasn't much faster. Pros: Work is OK Cons: Takes way longer than they tell you more
