Consider a different company to do your job. 10/29/2010

They ripped me off they provided an excellent Carrier product, but didn't do anything else as they stated they would in the contract. I found out 18 months later (after an ankle injury healed) that they didn't seal my ducting, as promised (one of the main reasons for hiring them). I did contact the BBB, and encourage all that have been wronged by them to do such as well. When I informed them about this issue the attempted to compensate me with a free pressure test and dinner. Not much of a compensation when you pay out $12K and then have to spend 2 days in the attic doing a job that they were suppose to do. more

Return Customer 2/4/2010

After having one of their furnaces in my house for 25 years, I figured it was time for another one. So I called Dependable. They have serviced my old system every year and I have never had a problem. My new system is an Energy Star, and my utility bills have dropped a lot. If you are in the market for a new furnace or air conditioner, I would recommend calling Dependable. Great guys. Its great working with a company that lives up to its name DEPENDABLE. They not only had a great product, but they showed up on time and completed everything they promised. There installers were professional and the quality of work was great. I would recomend them highly. Pros: I would Recommend them more

Bewars of this business 10/27/2008

As a consumer, I need to warn the public about an air conditioning company that DID NOT live up to its name. (Dependable Heating & Air Conditioning). I was recommended to use, Dependable Heating & Air Conditioning but to my dismay and great dissatisfaction I feel compelled to warn you. They said the install would only take one day. After 31 days the job is still not right. Their workmanship is very poor. I feel as though the gentleman, who sold us the system, was not professional in his follow through with us, as I made numerous calls to him explaining the problem to him. What I received back were excuses. I have decided to just pay them and finish the job myself. This company has caused my family and myself much grief and we had to live with no Air Conditioning for over three weeks with outside temperatures being over 100 degrees for most of that time. I never did get instructions on how to use or maintain my system. The outside unit is very noisy. I strongly recommend not doing business with this company I probably will take them up on their 100% satisfaction Guarantee and have them take the whole thing out and give me my money back more

One Bad Apple? 7/17/2008

Wow what a stressfull experience. I was getting my furnace and AC unit replaced but what made the the whole thing more stressfull was the fact that the head installer obviously did not want to be there. He was not professional and very abrasive. He kept talking about wanting to quit the company because he did not like the way things were run. He mis-wired the AC unit and left for the day, leaving my family in the heat. I would hope this is an isolated incident of one bad apple in the company because I had heard good things about them.
