The WORST service ever! The tech is the rudest person I have ever met. I ordered the tile cleaning in the kitchen area and the two room carpet cleaning. The tech showed up 45 mins late in the first place and I told him that I would appreciate that he hurries up and finishes, he told me stone faced there is no way he could finish in 1 hr. I said ok just do it.
He then started spraying the grouts of the kitchen and then disappeared. I went out and found him smoking in his van. He told me it would take about 20 mins before he can do anything. I asked him if he could start cleaning my bedrooms first while we are waiting on the kitchen area. He said he couldnt pull the tubes through the garage as the stuff he laid out for the kitchen is in the way. I asked him if he could use the front door, he reluctantly agreed. While he was treating spots in the master bedroom, I was there watching to ensure he got all the spots as some of those stains are not easy to see. He said angrily You dont need to watch me as I will not steal anything. I was speechless!!
Then after that, he spot treated the other bedroom and then packed his equipment; I asked him if he would clean the other bedroom, he said I told him I just wanted spot treated. Why would I pay for carpet cleaning but only ask for spot treatment?
The spots are still visible and not cleaned but I was so afraid of him, I didnt say anything else.
In the master bedroom, the spots are not cleaned and they are painful reminder of the worst service ever!!!!

My name is Steve Smith the owner of Deluxe Carpet Cleaning. I would like to respond to this negative review. To begin, this work was completed on December 7, 2012. The review is dated mid February 2013. Who waits two and one half months to write a bad review? That being said, this customer never contacted our office with any problems concerning the workmanship. So, this review is highly suspicious.
Now to the merits of the review: The work order included 1 bedroom to be cleaned, not two. This is clearly documented on our invoice which this customer signed. Any spot cleaning done in the other bedroom would have been as a courtesy to the customer by the technician. On the issue of being late to the job, it is our policy to contact every customer if we are running even a few minutes behind. We did so in this case. Deluxe carpet cleaning is one of the few companies that still sets exact appointment times. But occasionally we do run late in Houston traffic. It simply cannot be avoided. That is why we call to apologize and give a revised arrival time, which we did. Second, once the customer agreed to the new time, she cannot in fairness ask us to "hurry up" or the result will be poor workmanship. The chemicals for proper tile cleaning require proper dwell time on the floor in order to work properly. This is why the technician waited a few minutes near the truck. We regret and apologize that the technician was smoking at a customer home. That is against our policy. The technician properly cleaned the 1 room of carpet that was ordered and then as a courtesy spot cleaned an additional room at no charge. Yet the customer complains about not getting the entire room done for free? Also, please not that no complaint of workmanship is made about the 248 square feet of ceramic tile and grout cleaning which was performed to complete satisfaction and was the main work done in the home. If Ms Greene was unhappy with any aspect of the work she could have contacted us to redo any or all of the work to complete satisfaction. No effort was made on her part except to write a negative review the next year? Strange indeed.
We would be happy to re-clean any or all of the work with a different technician if contacted by the reviewer to do so.
