Do not buy a dog from here, it is just an upscale puppy mill. I bought a Golden Retriever puppy from here and he was diagnosed with severe hip displaysia at year old. When I went to pick him out they had at least 10 different breeds of puppies. This should have been my first clue, most good breeders only do 1 to 2 different breeds of dogs. The place was very clean but that just goes to show that looks can be deceiving. more

Keep up the great work Dan's kennel. My family and friend that were with me that day back in jan. Were very happy with Dan's place. We were able to meet the parent to our puppy.Dan gave us ample time to pick out our puppy. We actually thought he was going to tell us to leave we were there so long. My family and i went to Dan's kennels to get our puppy. We were happy with the dog we bought .The staff was friendly . All kennels were very clean and grounds were very nicely keep. more

After calling the spca and rescue we called Dan's kennel to get a puppy. They had great dogs and helpers there.Mike was a huge help and give us some great information. Something others did not do. For dogs that are homeless we found it very hard to get a dog from the shelter or rescue. Dan's kennel has been breeding for a long time and it shows in the quality if care they give!! more

Go to dans kennels to get your puppy . I have bought three there and there are all great dogs . My yorkie is 6 yrs old. I aslo have a pug that is 8 yrs old. And my favorite is my labrador retriever. I would not go anywhere else to get my dogs. I highly recommend dans!!! more

I purchased our mini-doxin from Dan's Kennels. His immaculate kennels really impressed my husband and I. Being seniors, we really did not expect such cleaniness in the kennels. Dan, himself, was very professional and courteous to us. We took as much time as we wanted. We would recommend this business to all my family and friends. We purchased a maltise/yorkie mix born on 7/10/08 from this puppy mill. Within a month of him being home he started getting ill. When I called there, a number of times, a woman who was VERY nasty would never let me speak with Dan. Needless to say, our little full grown 7 pound morkie had to be put to sleep on 2/28/12. We had him to a neurologist in Rochster many times, numerous vet visits and not to mention the extreme cost, they could not find what was wrong, nor could they save him. He should have had many more tomorrows than yesterdays. Every vet we had him to, as well as in speaking with other pet owners, have had nothing but medical problems with the dogs from Dan's Kennels. PLEASE do not support this as it is TRULY inhumane to the dogs. If all join together and do not purchase pets from him, he eventually will go out of business. We called the kennel to find out if they had any other puppy with the same health problems as our dog. They never returned our calls. We loved our dog and spent thousands of dollars trying to save him. At the tender age of 5 he died. WE are glad we had our little man as long as we did, regret that this kennel had so little regard for the health of thier pups. Save yourself the pain. Find a good breeder.Not a puppy mill more

I purchased Mr. Quigley, a seven month old Havanese, from Dan's Kennel a little over a month ago. I went to Dans kennel after a lot of research. I was on a tight budget and didnt want to spend a huge amount on a puppy. However, It was important to me that I got a healthy dog, that would grow up to be under 25 lbs. Mr. Quigley is exactly what I was looking for. The woman at the kennel did not try to push me above my price range, and listened to what I wanted in a dog. I am very happy with my decision and glad i went to Dan's Kennel. more

My boyfriend and I got our puppy here last March. The woman was patient with us and tried to find the puppy that would best match our personality and lifestyle.\r \r We couldn't ask for a better dog. Our Charlie (female) is so adorable, loveable, and healthy. She has a few minor behaviors that can be easily resolved with a little training. She got a clean bill of health from our vet. She loves people and plays well with other small dogs.\r \r The only thing that was odd, was that the sales woman was wrong about the type of dog our dog is mixed with. She is clearly Cavalier king charles spaniel, but first we were told she was a ""cavachon."" Later, when making our purchase were were told, ""cavapoo."" She was also off with size: our dog was predicted to be no more than 16 lbs., but she is now nearly 22 lbs at 11 mos. (by no means overweight). Charlie girl also leaves more hair behind than expected, as we were told she was a ""low shedding"" dog. This is nothing daily brushing can't fix, though.\r \r Overall, we were pleased with our decision with Dan's Kennels. Charlie has brought us so much joy. She is the best gift ever! I might be a bit skeptical, though, when it comes to choosing a mixed or ""designer breed"" puppy. more

i bought my female cockapoo (shylo ann) last april here at dans kennels and i was impressed. she had me santize my hands each cage visit for the safety of the puppies, and helped me the whole time. i love my baby girl she is the best!! happy healthy awsome! she was 8 weeks old when i bought her and she is as happy and healthy now. i would go back for another puppy anytime and have recommened people there. more

The buildings are CLEAN, the staff is friendly and helpful and they go above and beyond, all while insuring that the puppy is going to a good home. more

We went to Dans Kennels, and it was AMAZING.. clean, healthy puppies! Our Shih-Tzu puppy checked out fine at our vet. People need to go to DANS KENNELS...and see for yourself! Thanks Dan we will be back for another puppy! more
