Dan's Kennels

My wife and I went to Dan's Kennels to look at puppies for our family. We did a lot of research into the breed of puppy that we wanted. People told us not to go to Dan's Kennels because it is small and messy and you can not see all the puppies. I asked if they ever been to Dan's and they said no but that is what they heard. I can safely say that this is not true about Dan's. My wife and I were allowed to see different breeds of puppies and we were able to pick out the puppy of our choice. The puppy kennels were neat and clean. All the puppies seemed to be very healthy and well cared for. A lady named Jennifer was able to answer all our questions and was very helpful. My wife and I had lots of questions. After two seperate visits to Dan's we went home with a Shih Tzu Maltese mix and we love her. Her name is now Sookie. She loves our home and children. The place seemed clean, but the worker's answers were evasive and they would not show the actual puppy kennel area. It seemed like a mom and pop shop. They have recently changed their health garuntee for their pups from one year to two weeks.(the state minimum) No answer as to why...just a business decision. What's up with that.
