No service after the sale 12/2/2008

Had them install a lawn sprinkler system a couple of months ago. Everything went very quickly. All of the staff was polite and helpful. Now i have found that they by-passed my soft water system. I have made 14 calls over the last month and have gotten the same line that I am on the schedule. I am never given an appointment. I have been told that the message has been given to Mr. Dailey and I may want to try and catch him at the car wash and let him know that I need service. Did that too on a Saturday afternoon and he told me he would be out on Monday. Still a no show. Price is good but the service stinks. Hopefully they will get to me before my 3 year warranty is up. Pros: Price is good. Cons: Service is bad. more

Dailey Sprinkler will soak you. 7/15/2008

Ordering was easy, they took our money (cash) without the blink of an eye, nearly $3200. Installation took two days, second day just to connect the timer and do the programming. First service call was to correct the spray pattern since we didn't want the house or fences to grow, there was no need to water them. They scheduled a week out and made the required connections and also uncovered a roter head that was burried and adjusted a single sprinkler to a larger unit i.e. 2.5 "" to 4.5"" for better coverage. Once the lawn started growing and cutting was required, the problem of sprinkler heads set too high became evident. I have to drive the mower around the heads I can see in order to get past them, a couple of heads weren't so lucky and you can't find the replacement Rainbird spray heads at Home Depot or Lowes so you have to go with a unit that works but isn't designed the same. Now the 2nd head got axed and they want an additional $85 dollars (equivilent of 21 gallons of gas) to stop by, but in the mean time I have to shut down part of the 7 stations to keep from flooding. Warranty! Huh- only on parts that break. What about parts that are improperly installed???? Guess there's no honor in the workforce any more, all most like they are union workers, its just too bad. Buyer beware, hold on to your money, hold them off as long as you can. Pros: Quick and clean Cons: Follow up service more

TRY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! 6/2/2008

I have had the worst experience of any business in my life with these people. First of all, the women you speak to on the phone lack any sort of customer service skills. They do not know much about the products they install so you might as well ask to speak with the owner before you become annoyed with their incompetence...it'll keep your heartrate down a bit. I also received the long wait for service and, when I called to confirm a day before, I was also given the ""computer crash"" line as well. The servicemen arrive and determined that the rain dial had been damaged by a lightning strike and it wasn't covered under warranty. They replaced it, charged my father $375, and took the damaged rain dial. The rain dial brochure showcases that it has a 5 year warranty against ""lightning strikes"". I call them back and they say they only warranty it for one year and that I have to take it up with the manufacturer. No apologies, no attempt to make it right other than wanting to charge me another $85 to come out and return the damaged dial and take their new one. Call the manufacturer and they honor the 5 yr. warranty but I don't have the dial because Dailey Sprinkler Systems took I'm sure they'll send it in to the manufacturer and get a new one! I was supposed to hear from the owner but have not. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else! For those of you who have been wronged you can complain to the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Committee. Daily Sprinkler Systems Incorporated lic # 4576. more

Not so good 5/23/2008

Poor installation and horrible customer service....nothing more needs to be said. I regret using them. I have to wait 20 days to get a sprinkler head fixed. more

Horrible customer service 4/15/2008

Terrible customer service. They came to 'fix' a broken head, made matters much worse, and when I called to have it corrected, I was told it would be another 10 days for the next available appointment. In the meantime, I am stuck hand watering new sod while waiting for them to grace me with their presence. Would never have used them if I'd known how horrible their follow up service would be. Pros: Friendly workers once you get them to your house Cons: Terrible customer service more

Bad customer service & repair 3/31/2008

I was a customer of Dailey Sprinkler for 9+ years because they placed the system in my new home. This last experience was terrible. I called to have a valve fixed and a couple of sprinkler heads replaced since they were there anyway. They show up with defective equipment and could not locate the valve. Charged me a service call and said they would have to come back. Waited several hours and decided to locate the valve myself, and did. Called them and told them I located the valve and was told it would be another week before they could come back. Could not believe it. Well, OK, I scheduled for the following week. Next week comes around no one shows up. Called Dailey Sprinkler and she said the computer must have eaten my appointment. Then instead of saying, after all I had been thru, that they would be right out, she says like a recording the next available date will be next week. I am moving on to a company that cares about its customers. Horrible service. Schertz Texas Cons: company does not care about its customers more

Customer service lacking 2/20/2008

Their work may be OK, but follow-up customer service stinks. They checked out my system on Feb. 18. On Feb 21 I called to report a large area of standing water following the first time I used the system since their $88 inspection. The company's reaction was a robotic ""next available date "" is next Tuesday. The appropriate response would have been to put me in touch with someone else to discuss the issue or to see if I would be available for someone to check it out within the next couple of days. I can't recommend them as a company that promptly stands by their work. more

Look elsewhere for sprinklers 9/2/2006

Our interaction with this company has left a lot to be desired. The sprinkler system was placed late, with destruction of large parts of our sod during the process. We had to fight for months for sod replacement which has just resulted in more frustration. the replacement sod was placed incorrectly and of different quality than our original sod, significantly affecting the aesthetic appearance of our grass. We are still fighting for resolution of the problem (over one year later). The customer service from this company has been very poor. The sprinklers seem to work fine right now although an outside company (a consulting firm for further action) questions the quality long-term. If something were to happen with the sprinklers, I could guarantee I am calling another company for repairs. Cons: poor customer service, poor quality of work, lack of response to customers needs more
