If your only option was to go barefoot or to have these clowns slop together something called shoe repair; toughen up your feet. My experience was that the stiching on Both of the shoes disintergarted, shortly after the soles and heels were replaced. They said they could fix it for $89.50 or glue the soles (which had minimal wear) so they would last a liile longer. When I complained about the price and workmanship, I was physically threatened. I went to another shoe repair establishment and the problem with the shoddy work was corrected for $29.75. I strongly recomment that under NO circumstances should these misfits be entrusted with any work.
