Cyclone Anaya's City Center- After strolling the city centre my family and I decided to beat the Houston summertime heat and grab a few margaritas at Cyclone's. We asked the hostess for a table outside and as she was gathering our menus another hostess leaned over and reminded her that there is a no tank top dress code for guys and we cannot be seated unless I put on a shirt with sleeves... DRESS CODE, WTF??? I had to look around to make sure we didn't accidentally stroll into Eddie V's! First off, Cyclone's and dress code don't even make sense. Second, my designer tank top was immeasurably more classy than all of the guys already seated wearing their wrinkled/faded college t-shirts! I actually take pride in the way I dress and clearly understand ""dress code"" based on where I am going... One thing is crystal clear, I will not be a patron of that location EVER again! I am not sure who Cyclone's is trying to deter from their ""casual"" resto, but they definitely lost a good tipping customer! Houston is supposed to be a trendy city and their establishments should understand casual dress code does not mean sleeves! Especially when it's 100 degrees outside at 7pm!!!\r

Here is a classy tip, if there happens to be a specific dress code that is not apparent based on the ""casual"" nature of the resto, let's display that policy on the door so people have an understanding before they walk in! Also, make sure all of the employees know the company policies! Cyclone Anaya's City Center... #Fail
