Rodney is absoluitely the BEST stylist in the city. He has taken my unruly mess of thick hair and made it look fantastic! Seriously, strangers stop me to ask where I got my haircut. The best thing about his cut is that my hair always grows out great -- it doesn't grow out all uneven and weird. I have gone up to 3 months without a new cut and people were still complimenting me. Oh, I have thick wavy hair and I think that is one of his specialties. His layers are seamless. He is the BEST and his staff is friendly and wonderful! So I happened to stumble across this salon in SOHO one day. Glancing through the windows, I wittnessed something spectacular: hip, fun, creative stylists dressed to kill, smiling and having an amazing time with their clients. The decor itself was stuptifying. Instantly, I was helped and became immersed within the energy pool. I glanced to my right to notice one of the customers immaculate hair style, SOLD. I booked a cut. His name: JOEL. His Deal: Unique style and grace, Amazing personality and Incredible communication skills. JOEL is a glowing individual who shines through and reflects onto you. He caters your every need and desire. If you're feeling funky, this man has a multitude of ideas! If you're feeling simple, JOEL creates pure elegance. I consult with him about everything! I visited the new SoHo salon because it's closer to home, and it is amazing! First of all, the inside is super-cool and the atmosphere is low-key and friendly. The receptionists were great---from booking my appointment to welcoming me inside. I got my hair cut with Clyde, and it is FABULOUS! He is truly an artist, and it's evident when you watch him cut hair; He takes his time, so plan on having a real hair-cutting experience when you book with him...It will definitely be worth it! He talked to me about my hair, asked me what I wanted, and made suggestions. I could tell he is really passionate about his job, and I am amazed at the results. I didn't get my color done, but I saw beautiful highlights, asked who did them, and her name is Adrian...so I plan on seeing her too! The experience was great...Thanks! more

I was refered to Cutler salon Soho by a co worker and my visit to the salon was geat! Ray cut my hair and It's the best I have ever had! People stop me on the street and on the subway asking ""who cut you hair!"" It's the first time that a hairdresser actually listened to me! The reception staff were wonderfull to me and I can't wait to go back! more
