Excellent. 12/17/2020

I print here weekly. It's half the cost of comparable print shops. The students who work there have always been nice and polite, with once exception that no longer works there. ;) Whenever they're closed for the holidays, I sadly try to find somebody else to replace Cougar Creations, like the fedex or staples or whatever, but I can never find anybody as cheap, as fast, or who has easier printing. It's especially cool that they have free, photoshop-equipped computers for use for last minute adjustments! more

Great for binding class notes 9/20/2019

I always go to cougar creations to get class notes bound, either if the teacher has us follow their notes, or if there are a lot of handouts or something. I also often take all my homework, notes, and handouts in an overflowing binder at the end of a semester and spiral bind them here for like 3 bucks! It is so worth it and it takes pretty much no effort, just go down there, ask them to do it, pick your cover plastic and back color, and in 5 minutes your notes are beautiful and much easier to reference in, say, an open-notes exam, or for later reference. more

Big Disappointment 3/26/2019

I recently used cougar creations do get copies of an over-sized paper. I had to wait for over an hour before the workers finally figured out how to scan a large paper. After that my pages had lines all over it from a printer problem. They asked me if I was fine with lines all over my assignments. I said absolutely not, but I was still charged for it. The workers were completely incompetent and I will not be going back. more

Excellent service, lowest prices 2/3/2019

I used to print things weekly here, and it's much better than any other print center I've been to. The staff is helpful, the wait time is negligible, they allow you to print from your own E-mail, there's not a fee for computer use under ten minutes, and the prices are lower than anywhere else. Once they were closed early, and I had to go to FedEx's print center... it was three times the cost and took four times as long! I don't know why the reviews here are so negative. It will be sad when my family moves from Provo and loses access to this wonderful service. more

Bad employees 8/11/2017

I went in needing a simple job. I asked for some help and the girl seemed put off that I'd even ask for help. She just verbally told me what to do and it was terribly confusing. Once I printed it she took forever to release the print from the que and then didn't know how to help me enlarge what I had just printed. I gave up after my second print with no help from anyone. Once I got my two prints in hand, I had to wait while they just talked until one of them asked if I had paid yet. Uh duh. Obviously not. So one relunctanly came over, answered a phone call and THEN helped me pay my 22 cents. It was ridiculous. I don't understand why is so hard to help customers!!! more

Useless 6/15/2017

For my on campus job, I spend a lot of time in Cougar Creations. Whenever I go in, the staff does a wonderful job of making me feel like I'm inconveniencing them. They don't have a consistent charge for copies. The students working there have no idea what they're doing and they are SO rude. Sometimes when I go in, which always in the afternoon, the printers are off thus making me wait 20-30 minutes for the printer to "heat up". I don't know how other copy centers work, but it would be my assumption that the printer should be on. more

cheap quality printing 1/14/2016

This was the worst experience I've had at a print shop. I expected great service from Byu, however, I received rude service and terrible quality prints. I went in after pre ordering my printed book only to find it a disorganized madhouse. All the employees were running around and they seemed to have misplaced my order. Once they finally found it they charged me $8 instead of $5. While this is only $3 more, they guaranteed a certain price on their website and then overcharged once I went to pick it up. On top of everything else, the item I ordered did not even come with a laminated cover or anything that I had asked for. They just printed pieces of cheap paper and then spiral bound it. There is no point in this because it rips easily since it it such poor quality and no support to keep it from getting destroyed. I would avoid this place and go somewhere more professional and honest. more

Copy Center on Campus = Convenience 9/21/2005

Located downstairs in the student center, Cougar Creations is the perfect spot to visit when you need that last minute copy but don't have time to leave campus. They have plenty of staff and machines that you can use yourself or you can hand it off to have someone else do for you and return later. Prices are about average but the convenience is what keeps you coming back! more

How About A Lot of Nothing 8/19/2005

I frankly don't know who runs this joint, whether it's officially BYU or not, but there's issues with the hospitality of Cougar Creations. Somehow creations at the self serve copy machines are taxed, so if you're going to run copies at Cougar Creations en masse, you better go upstairs to the copy machine next to the information desk rather than to pay taxes for services that aren't even performed. Further, the students working here seem disinterested and only help you if you approach them. Not to advocate Kinko's, but that's where I'd go. more

Lots of services, bad service 8/19/2005

Cougar Creations offers lots of printing and copying services. There are self server machines as well as employee run machines. There are also computers that you can use (for a fee) that have more advanced design and publishing software. They also have a large selection of die-cuts that you can use for free with your own paper. The employees, though, seem to have a culture of wanting to do as little as possible to help the customers, though. It seems like you often have to try to get there attention and that they are really not that interested in what you need. more
