I was a loyal Supercuts customer for 15 years. When Cost Cutters opened, I decided to give them an opportunity to earn my business, because the location was slightly more convenient (i.e., within walking distance) than my local Supercuts. In the past two months, I stopped in three times for haircuts. On the first two occasions, I was pleased with the service. On the third occasion (today), I was seated in the chair and wearing a smock when I learned that neither of the stylists on duty had clipper blades--something I assumed was standard equipment. I left without getting a haircut, because they couldn't accommodate my request. My *very* ordinary request. Bottom line: I wasted at least 30 minutes. Cost Cutters missed the boat; they lost a very loyal consumer who is now likely to return to Supercuts for another 15 years. I'm certainly not going to chance another visit to Cost Cutters, hoping that the stylist on duty is equipped to cut my hair. Unacceptable.
Pros: N/A
Cons: No clipper blades!?
