Cossetta's beats Buca for best Italian in the Twin Cities - not only do they have delicious pizza, wonderful Italian dishes, classic Italian music, and an interesting atmosphere - BUT they also have a wonderful market within the restaurant that sells all kinds of pastas, cheeses, pizza dough balls (to make your own awesome pizza), Italian breads and sweets, etc., etc.
The cooks, busboys, etc. all seem to be having a good time - it FEELS like you are in Italy with all the intimate chaos going on around you.
A good idea - call ahead with your pizza order so that it is ready when you get there, and avoid lunch/dinner crowds.
Also, it's better not to bring large groups unless you don't mind waiting for a table. Smaller groups or couples are much better, and it can actually be surprisingly intimate!
