I miss n.e. thyme.
Corner Table is in the same location, but just doesn't measure up. n.e. thyme was intimate; Corner Table feels crowded. n.e. thyme seemed comfortable and familiar; Corner Table tries to be trendy.
We (4) visited on a Saturday. The restaurant does not accept reservations for fewer than 6 people so we arrived early (6:30) in order to keep the wait down. Our wait (at the bar) was a mere 30 minutes, but by the time we were seated there was no room left to stand in the waiting area, which was spilling into the dining area. It was extremely loud, almost to the exclusion of our ability to converse.
The menus promised more than the kitchen could deliver. We each ordered a different entree, and each of us was disappointed.
In short, we liked the wines and coffee, but weren't impressed by the food or atmosphere.
Pros: Wines, espresso
Cons: Noise, lack of value
