Worst Shop Ever!! 11/9/2009

I should have read reviews here before I took my car to this worst shop. Funny how the reviews posted here are either one star or five stars... For those one star's, obviously had experienced the same kind of ""service"" i received, as for those five stars.. (haha, go figure) All i can say is, save your time and money, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE... I would leave no star if it was an option. Cons: everything more

Great Service and Great Work 6/19/2009

They did an amazing job in repairing my car. It looks like new. I worked with Mahagony and she is great as she exceeded all my expectations. I am send all my friends to them. Thank you Collision Works! Pros: Very Professional and exceeded all my expectations! more

efficient and friendly 6/16/2009

Stopped by for help with adjustments on a bicycle carrier that attaches to my spare tire holder. Though it was close to time for closing, everyone was friendly. They greeted me cheerfully and found a quick solution, even though it was not the typical repair. They didn't try to upsell. Facility was clean, great waiting area. I'll use them again! Pros: Ready to help, even with an unorthodox problem more

SUPER JOB ON MY ACURA!!! 5/8/2009

I really anticipated that it was all over for my '05 TL. Brian, Kim and the entire crew not only repaired it, but made it look and feel darn close to new. I'll never ever take my cars anywhere else. Thanks for a job WELL done! Pros: No better service and response anywhere. more

This is by far one of the WORST customer service experiences 1/6/2009

They will promise you the world and then not deliver. I dropped my car off to have the rear bumper replaced and it took them 6 weeks after promising it would only take two!\r \r DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I'd rather get a ticket than chance working with those jerks again! more

WORST SHOP IN ATLANTA!!!!! 12/12/2008

I don't know any other shops in Atlanta because my car doesn't break down as often as the person with the 5 star review below who obviously visited a lot of shops in Atlanta with a broken car and knows all about them. BUT, I DO know that Collision Works Atlanta is a definitely DO-NOT-GO shop in Atlanta now!!! \r They would tell you anything to get you to leave your car there: ""oh, we'll fix your car for it to drive like a brand new, (despite the fact it's got over $10K of damage on it already) we offer the life time guarantee... blah blah blah. THEN, they will blame everything they can't fix on ""it's the normal wear and tear, oops sorry"".. Trust me, you don't want to go there.. if you need more information on how much they can screw you, contact me for more information. I have prove to show you. Pros: Great at lying, good at making up a pretty story Cons: EVERYTHING!!! more

BEST SHOP IN ATLANTA, HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!! 12/12/2008

Unfortunately, when we need to contact a collision center, it is because we had some bad luck. I have been living in Atlanta for over 20 years. I had my share of accidents. I took my cars to many places including, Kong's Body Shop, D&D Kustom Collision, Wade's Collision Repair and others. Most of the time, I had to bring the cars back due to problems, including waves in the paint, over spray or electrical. About 4 years ago, I was recommended to Collision Works, in Buckhead. The owner, Steve, was very helpful. It didn't appear anything like any shop I'd been to before, it was breathtaking in the office then out the window you could see all the cars they were working on. They had an Enterprise on site to get me a rental fast which was a great PLUS. My experience with their work was so GREAT that I bring my cars there and recommend them to all my friends. They are HONEST!!. They do the RIGHT thing for you. They will make sure the car is fixed 100% the first time and they work for YOU , not for the insurance company. There are even times when I stopped by with help on something little, and their technician came out and adjusted it and when I tried to tip him, he refused the tip. Looking at some of these other reviews I am stunned. Getting into an accident makes some people unhappy but this shop is simply FANTASTIC!!! This is a Customer Service Oriented business, who cares about YOU and your car. Give them a call!! YOU WILL BE REAL HAPPY YOU DID!!!! Pros: Honest..Puts you first...Everything really more

DO NOT GO THERE! 12/11/2008

DO NOT GO THERE!!!! They don't deliver what they promised. They would say anything to get your business. BE CAREFUL!!! They lie.\r \r They would promise you to fix your car like a ""brand new"" then blame on the ""normal wear and tear "" for everything...\r \r \r Yeah, this is my review, and my only review. I do not appreciate you (Mr. Peek) calling out my name in your replies and just assumed that I wrote ALL the reviews. Control yourself, geez! Cons: EVERYTHING more

Poor customer service and it took way to long 10/10/2008

I don't typically write reviews but my experience at Collision Works was so bad I felt the need to warn people. My car was brought in and give an estimated completion date of one month. While I felt that this was a long time I knew there was a lot of damage so I accepted the time fram. I received little to no communication from the body shop for the entire time my car was in the shop. I found out later that there were times my car was just sitting waiting on parts or for ""the window guy"" or ""alignment guy"" to get there and look at it. \r \r On the day my car was supposed to be ready I had to call them and was told that it would be ready in two days. Again, after not hearing anything from the shop I called again only to be told that it would be another few days. Each time, they said they were waiting on parts or insurance or they had to get someone else to come in or take my care somewhere to get other work done. (Why don't they have those people there already). Long story short, this occurred multiple times, so two weeks after I was told my car would be ready I called again and told them I would be there in person to make sure the final steps got taken care of that day. Had I known that this was going to happen and that I would be without my car for six weeks I certainly would have take my car somewhere else. I will never bring anything to this shop again and would not recommend it to anyone! Cons: Poor communication, not accurate in their estimates, poor timeliness more

Fantastic customer service, professionalism and superb work is the only true description of this company!! 6/13/2008

State Farm recommended them and I couldn't have gone to a better firm. From the moment I went in until I picked up my beautifully repaired Town Car, they never let me down. I was called the same day that I brought the car in and they told me that Ford no longer carried the parts needed to fix my door and molding, but that if I permitted Collision Works to repair the damaged parts, I would not be disappointed. Why not, I said, after all they as well as State Farm guaranteed the work. They told me that it would take a week longer to do the job and I told them to go ahead. I just picked up the car today and I cannot see a blemish, dent, scratch nor a ripple. The paint was a great match. How did they do that?? I don't really care, my car looks brand new. They also cleaned the interior. Thanks Collision Works. USE THIS AUTO BODY SHOP WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE! \r Pros: Fantastic Company to deal with. Honest and professional more

nice, easy-to-deal-with customer service oriented people in a comfortable environment 8/27/2007

Collision Works is the mechanic you have always dreamed of. They greet you when you walk in and you leave quickly with a solution that works for you. Someone is always available to look at your car, assess damage, or problem solve, and they explain what they see and how the work will be done as they go. The estimates I've had have always been accurate and they are happy to fix anything that you are not pleased with if you bring it to their attention. They're reasonable, professional and timely. My car has come back in good shape every time, and they are often willing to do repairs quickly while you wait. Enterprise rent a car is right downstairs so renting if you need is easy. Say goodbye to grungy waiting rooms, long lines, small shops with no parts in stock and try professional Collision Works. Pros: convenient location, nice ambiance, professional, friendly, informative Cons: sometimes their suppliers for international parts are not always timely more

DO NOT RECOMMEND... AWFUL PAINT AND BODY WORK!!! DO NOT GO THERE 3/22/2007

My insurance (Traveler's) company recommended this company to get a body work done for my 2003 Porsche 911. Their paint and body work were so bad; I do not know how they stay in business. From fish eyes to bad/rough paint job around the edge, I had to return my 911 THREE TIMES to repair their awful paint jobs. I still am not satisfied with their work. On my second return, I had whole car buffed, because they did not cover undamaged area well during their painting/repair. They tried to blame it on me, saying that I dropped off my car with bunch of white scroll marks and dull layer of white dust or something? that made my black paint look very dull. I first thought it was dust, but it did not wash off and later realized it was thin layer of some type of paint or clear coat. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COLLISION WORKS. If you need additional info, feel free to email me. I will be happy to share my bad experience with Collision Works. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. Pros: NICE BUILDING AND LOCATION Cons: AWFUL REPAIR AND BODY WORK. BAD PAINT JOB. ALL NOVICE WORKERS!!! more

Collision Works came highly recommended and exceeded my expectations 8/10/2006

Collision Works was recommended by my insurance company. As it turns out, they had my best interests in mind. They were very easy to deal with. The staff was friendly, efficient and courteous. Most importantly, they did great work. You would never know the car had been damaged. more

Bad customer service.... 6/18/2006

This was one of the worst customer service exerpiences of my life. I took my vehicle to Collision Works based on a recommendation from my insurance compay. First, the estimate was reasonable. Now the managing staff says the estimate is wrong. Don't be fooled by their website. Here is what it says ""The Collision Repair process is very complicated. Not only are the repairs technical in nature, but often delays happen before the repairs can even start. Remember, at CollisionWorks, you hear from us four times during the repair process"". I never heard from them. My estimate was for 5 days work, I had to call them at day 5 to find out that they did not have a status. The staff was very rude when I asked for a status, and the staff manager was just as bad. Do not recommend this to anyone.\r more

Collision Works is terrible! 5/18/2006

Don't be fooled by the nice interior of Collision Works. When the passenger side of my car was hit, I went out to look at the car and was told all the wonderful things they could do for it. They sent an estimate to the insurance company saying it was on the DRIVER'S SIDE, which the insurance company approved b/c they didn't loook quite closely enough. They wrote up a $22,000 estimate for a side of the car that had no damages and then supposedly ""fixed"" it. When asked why they did this by the insurance company, they told them that I had asked for an estimate for the wrong side of the car even though I reviewed with a manager what could be fixed AND before and after photos showed there was nothing wrong with the drivers side. They are liars.. more

I have never imagined a body shop this nice! 2/12/2006

I don't pretend to be an expert, but from the moment I walked through the doors of this place I knew who was going to fix my car. The place looks like a boardroom, not a body shop. April, at the front desk, greeted me immediately and seemed to truly care how I felt after my accident. The damage was ugly (thank God for insurance!), but they finished ahead of schedule and gave me frequent updates on the progress of my car. I would recommend this place to anyone (and I have). I have an Acura and thought about taking it to the dealer, but after this experience I'll never go back to the dealer for body work again. Thanks, Collision Works! Pros: Great staff, Professional office, Convenient more

Do NOT go here 11/9/2005

Our car was wrecked & the insurance company told us to take it here. Four weeks later, and we have still not gotten the car back for a relatively minor accident. Every time, they say it'll be ready ""tomorrow"", but they need to do one more thing. This is absolutely ridiculous. more
