Be very careful with this clinic. Their billing department is extremely disorganized and incompetent. Over 2 years after receiving very marginal medical care I was served with a lawsuit for a small medical bill that had NEVER been sent to me. I was unaware that it existed, if in fact I even owe it. They added 40 percent in fees and refused to discuss it with me or accept any sort of a payment plan. The attorney for them told me it would be more beneficial for them to have a judgement as they could then attach my assets for the full amount including the bogus fees. They operate under the guise of a Christian organization, but beware of the wolf in sheep's clothing. This is a scam - STAY AWAY!!!! more

Can't find Better! 3/17/2012

College Park Family is the BEST Drs office I've ever been to, and Dr. Dobratz is one of the best, caring, and attentive Drs I've ever been treated by! He is a bit on the quiet & she side, but is truly a wonderful Dr, that LISTENS to his patients! I've had to use the call back several times, and each & every time, have recvd a return call promptly, even on weekend! They also have a walk-in Urgent care 7 days a week. College Park has labs and radiology w/in its location and all info is kept in house, which allows the Drs to provide the best treatments! They are family and faith based, which is becoming so hard to find these days, which makes this office even better! more

Good Doctor but Bad Bedside Manner 3/1/2012

Dr. Wright is a fine doctor but he isn't very warm. My family has gone to him for the past few years and we are currently looking for someone else. He is not overtly mean but he is really hard to impress. My husband and I both lost a lot of weight (50lbs + each) and we didn't even get a ""that 'a boy"" for our efforts. When you are doing the right things and working hard to be healthy you want at least your doctor to be encouraging and give you a gold star. Maybe we are being silly but it is important to us, so we will be going elsewhere. more

Family Care not so much 1/6/2012

Excellent doctors but poor and un-family orientated business practices. They charge a 1% fee on all balances regardless if the insurance has paid or hasn't. For families that have to do payments that is unacceptable. No other doctors or hospitals we've been have charged anything as long as you paid a reasonable amount each month. We'll be switching to a ""true"" family practice. more

Great Place, Compassionate Doctors 3/28/2009

When I was pregnant with my first child I had many problems. The office was great handling it and making arrangements for me to come in three times a week. They always had space available at convient times. Hilary Nash was also wonderful in providing me with knowledgeable, yet very compassionate care. Pros: Caring personnel Cons: Long wait more

Poor Communications 9/4/2008

Went to the NW location for a sinus infection and the medication had an adverse effect. I called on Friday morning at 8:00 am before a holiday, did not want to go all weekend with the infection I had. The person who picked up the phone told me that I would get a call a from the oncall doctor, if I had not heard from the on call doctor call back . Did not hear from the on call doctor so at 9:00 am I called back and left a message that I needed different medication and wanted to make sure I had it for the weekend. During this time the on call doctor called back around 9:30am and she stated she would call the office and she would get the problem resolved. Needless to say at 3:00 pm I had not heard back from the office so I once again called so I could get medication for the long weekend, I left a message and got a call back around 4:00 pm I talked to a different doctors nurse, the doctor that I had seen was not in on that Friday. She told me that they could not give me a different medication because they had not seen me, Doctor Church saw me and I would have to be seen by a different doctor for the infection to get medication. She stated that I could go to the walkin clinic (that would cost me $40 and I have already paid $20) but they could get me a quick appointment. What is the purpose of a group if they cannot look at the chart and resolve the issue. So I spent the entire Labor Day weekend ill (I could have spent the $40 but why I had already seen a doctor and paid $20). The overall point is that the office has POOR communications and not helpful when you are in a position of needing medication even if the doctor you saw was out of the office for the day. This was not life or death, it was a sinus infection! I would have thought that any doctor could have called in a prescription to solve my problem. Thank god I really wasn't ill. I must say that I have returned to Leawood Family Care for the medical needs of our family. They do care and will work with you. Pros: Good Parking and quick to be seen Cons: Not willing to work with the patient, and very poor communication more
