My husband needed a book for class and his usual place was out of stock of his required book. He asked me to call another store, and they had it! I drove over there quickly! This was Monday of this week. Classes begun last week and he needed his book but it was on special order at the other store and he had class to attend.
I was pleasantly surprised at this store! I walked in and was immediately greeted. Her name tag was simple yet, profound. It said, "Mom". That's exactly how she was too! She made conversation and made sure I found all I needed. She was friendly and personable.
I paid the correct price for the book. I have found some stores charge different prices and I did not pay more than necessary. Also, they seemed to be well stocked and had more than just books. They had quite a few used books, but the book I needed was only available as a new book. They had everything you need to get going in your classes. They had the required books as well as plenty of notebooks and pens/pencils to choose from.
At checkout, she even gave me a "back to school" kit! I was floored by how personable this store was. I'm used to the cold bookstores where everything is crazy. This store was a refreshing change!
