One of the stop I HAVE TO make every time I visit Austin 2/17/2009

I started going to CoCo's when it first opened around 2000. I haven't tried a whole lot of different things there but I LOVE the almond milk tea with boba (tapioca pearls) and the onion pie. Sadly I try every boba place I come across in Austin ( my parents home) and Dallas ( my home) and I have never found any pearls that come close to the sweetness and texture of these. The drinks are FANTASTIC! more

THE SCENE: The dining area is colorful, bright, long, and slightly narrow due to the lot on busy Guadalupe street. The various menus are written in both English and Mandarin. The restaurant is usually full of Asian students and the servers can be heard talking to each other in Mandarin. Pros: Unique cuisine! more
