Bought the home + wireless and in Sandy Springs at Dunwoody Place and 400 NO signal. canceled service but Clear would not refund cost of modem and card , I loose $183 more

I checked online today and Clearwire costs MORE than my current Bellsouth DSL and it's also slower. Cheapest price for Clearwire was $55 monthly plus $5.99 for the modem. That's NOT a good deal. more

I just think it?s super fast. It?s never ever gone down for me?so far it?s been a great savings for us as well because we don?t have to have the home phone. We?re saving about probably $40 a month. more

I don?t have an Xbox but I do have PS3. I am now using Clear internet service for my play station, playing GTA4(EoLC), RE5, Resistance 2, etc... and no lag. I played 5 hours ago and the connection was solid, continuous, and constant. Even in harsh rainy, windy conditions here in Houston the connection is consistant good for gaming. Make sure you check your location make sure it is in the CLEAR BEST CONNECTION range to get the same results. more

I am sending this out as a warning. We got Clear internet about 1 1/2 months ago and were lied to by the sales rep, had horrible internet speed, constant interruptions in service, and when we tried to cancel, they wouldn't let us! Then we found out that the sales rep had signed us up for a TWO YEAR CONTRACT but told us there was none! When we called again to cancel, we were informed of the 2 year contract and told there would be a $180 termination fee unless we transfered our account to a friend or family member! Bait and switch! As if we would subject anyone to this treatment! After over an HOUR on the phone arguing with us despite being transfered to a supervisor, the only way they were going to let us cancel was to classify our account as fraud, but we would still have to pay shipping charges to send the equipment back, and they would continue to charge us until they received the equipment. more

I signed up for Clear and was really disappointed. I live right downtown a block from the Willamate and my signal was either really bad, getting dropped, or both. I really wanted it to work. I worked with there tech support for hours but in the end they through in the Towel and admitted that Clear is a work in progress. Unfortunately, after the trial period your contract is not a work in progress and you are locked in. I got out before that. But that's just my experience. It good to see some people are happy with Clear. I really wish it could of worked out for me. more

I have been a subscriber to this internet ""no service"" for 1.5 years, stuck in a no good contract, they have been the absolute worst service available no faster than dial up charged me for web hosting that I never signed up for, and instead of reimbursing my acct. they offered a free month of hosting, of something I don't need. Wi max or not no way would I ever sign up with a company like this. more

The price is great about $35/month and took about 5 minutes to set up with our wireless router and have our laptops surfing in no time. more
