fabulous experience 12/7/2002

This was my first visit to Cinta Salon , I had a haircut with Arvin who paid such great attention to detail and gave me a totally new look which I love.This place is upbeat and fun with a great sense of style. Pros: good parking, friendly, great work more

Who's the client? 10/21/2002

I actually loved my last haircut (from another salon out of state) and needed to get a trim. I went to Cinta thinking the professionals there would understand service & customer needs. When I explained that I just wanted a trim to the stylist, Heng, she ARGUED with me -- saying, ""what will be the change then??"" I said I didn't WANT a change...that was the whole point. I just wanted a trim. We went back and forth for awhile with her actually refusing to cut my hair if I was going to be critical of what she was doing. In the end, I ended up with a cut much more layered and different than what I started with. I was very disappointed and upset because whose hair is it anyway? Certainly not the stylist's.... more

professional but not snooty 8/20/2002

I've been going to this salon for about 4 years and have always been impressed with the fun yet professional atmosphere. Over the years they have added more services. I receive the best wax here! They even have a student training program. Pros: threading, quick, detail oriented Cons: a bit expensive more

Kass is fantastic! 8/7/2002

I tried Cinta, because the expensive, high-end salon that everyone was recommending did not work out for me at, despite which stylist I saw. I saw Kass and she was wonderful. She asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. She explained everything that she was going to do and asked if I had any questions. The she gave me a very relaxing scalp massage. I almost fell asleep. She offered me a drink and when I accepted she got it without getting huffy or anything. I loved my cut and the way she styled it. I will definately go back and recommend her to all my friends. The cost of the cut was $50 and $10 for the tip. That was much less than what I was paying. more

Ab Fab 6/24/2002

I saw Jackie, a senior stylist at Cinta, and I got the best haircut I've had in a very long time. I had been going to another upscale salon for almost 10 years, and found myself in a hairstyle-rut. Jackie fixed all that. I would highly recommend Jackie. She's ab fab! more

great cut! 5/28/2002

I went as a hair model, since I was unwilling to risk paying a hefty sum for a possibly ok cut. However, I was pleasantly surprised. With a mentor looking on, a trainee gave me what I asked for, and more. I had wanted a trim, and she did that, giving me great dramatic layers in front, and giving me tips on how to keep my hair looking great. Two hours later, I went to work and everyone commented on how great my hair looked. I'm definitely going back again... Pros: convenient area, great atmosphere, great place Cons: had to wait 10 min, took 2 hours more
