Highest quality service without attitude 5/23/2005

I've been a Cinta client for a couple of years. I've had manicures and pedicures as well as regular haircuts with Arvin. I've found everyone there to be very warm and professional. Arvin's attention to detail is fantastic and I'm always happy with my cut. It is expensive, but not more so than comparable salons in the area. Get your eyebrows done here! 4/23/2005

I have been going to Cinta for years to get my eyebrows threaded by Bhavna and I can't recommend her enough. Forget waxing, it is so harsh on the skin. I used to have welts after waxing with other aestheticians -- some have even ripped skin off. Yikes! So I said forget it. Bhavna is such a master with a piece of thread, it's amazing. And she can sculpt brows better than anyone I've ever seen. Plus, the people at Cinta have always been very kind. more

Highly Impressed 3/14/2005

My friend recommended me to Cinta salon after reading about it in Allure magazine. Loving her hair, I too made an appointment wanting to get a similar style. WHAAAT? 3/3/2005

I strayed to this salon after reading about it in Allure and I'm shocked at how bad my haircut was. My ""layered bob"" had no layers at all and my hair was an inch and a half shorter on one side! My usual stylist took me back, fixed it, and I will never leave her again... more

I felt like I was on a conveyor belt when I got my hair cut. One person shampoo'd, a different person cut, an entirely different person blew my hair dry. While the haircut itself was fine, I just didn't feel like I was getting any sort of personal attention. Plus, when I went to the counter to pay, there was a line of products on the counter that the receptionists assumed I was going to purchase simply because the stylist told her those were the one's used on my hair. Everything from shampoo to gel and hairspay. I felt embarrassed to have to tell her that I wasn't interested in purchasing the products. It just wasn't a pleasant expereince. I won't be back. Love Cinta 2/11/2005

I've been going for almost a year now. I have long hair that needs lots of attention to stay not-frizzy. Cass is so nice and professional. The ladies in the salon are very nice, laid back, and not snooty. The best product I have ever used on my hair was recommended to me there but there is not a lot of pressure to buy. Love the massage that comes along with the hair wash, totally relaxing. It is a bit more than I would like to pay, but I think it's worth it - lots of things are a bit more than I would like to pay - and it's definitely not way out there in terms of cost. I Love My Hair! 11/16/2004

I have lived in SF for years and have been to almost all of the high-end salons . I met with Christy and had the best experience ever. I am a creature of habit when it comes to my hair and walked in looking to have my usual cut. Christy made me feel comfortable from the start, she was so patient and answered all my questions. I had my haircut with Arvin, and he did a fabulous job. Great attention to detail, modern cut, he is very professional and nice, and he makes you feel so good, just by being there. That is exactly what one needs when going somewhere to beautify themselves, to hear that they look good and sexy. Am very happy with the experience, and will go back. more

My friend and I had the best pedicure ever at cinta. The pedicure area is set up so we could both have our service done side by side in a nice quite area of an otherwise busy salon. We both felt the service was great and will do it again as it is a great way to get some time together while having our tired feet taken care of, and these women really know how to give a great pedicure. Best Salon in SF!!! 6/4/2004

I have been going to Cinta for two years. I am very picky about my hair and I see Dympna, who consitently gives me a better cut than the 'name' stylists I used to go to in NY who charge twice the price. I have also referred several of my friends to Cinta. None of them see Dympna, but they are also now loyal clients to whomever they see (one sees Cass, I think). I highly recommend Cinta's to anyone, especially those from out of town looking for a reliable and trustworthy salon that the locals frequent. Cinta is the BEST!!! 8/7/2003

I had been going to Cinta Salon for 5 years before moving out of the area, and miss this salon so terribly! I had seen many stylists over the years, but my favorite and most recent had been Marcus. He is so personable, and makes me feel like a million bucks whenever I get my hair cut! He is very skilled and uses his own creativity, but also follows your requests for the look you want. End results are always fabulous! Cinta Salon staff are also fantastic, and pretty much anyone you get a cut with are awesome as well. Best salon in the city with a convenient location downtown between Powell and Montgomery stops! Pros: Talented, Creative, Friendly, Worthwhile prices, Location Cons: None! more

if you want to get a really good haircut you have to request Noel. it truely is the stylist and not the salon. there has been so many changes with the staff that i no longer recognize anyone except for Noel. it is pretty pricey but it's worth it if you want to spend the money. more

Wedding Bliss! 5/18/2003

First, let me say that I have worked for 10 years at two upscale salons, so I have very high standards. Cinta met and exceeded my high expectations. I was visiting San Francisco for a formal evening wedding and wanted to have my hair styled. I only had a small window of time available that day and the front desk took very good care of me. Liam, who styled my hair was wonderful! He created the style exactly how I imagined it. He was also very personable. Everyone at the wedding complimented me on how nice my hair looked. The salon itself was also beautiful and clean. If in the area again, I know exactly where to go. Pros: Professional, Personable, Goes the Extra Mile more

Amazing Hair Cut! 12/19/2002

This is the first time I used Citysearch to find a Salon in San Francisco. My impression of Cinta Salon was not that great. However, Master Stylist Hang gave me an amazing haircut. She was very attentive and detailed and nice too! The salon was a little too hectic for me but Hang definitely made it worth while.
