This food is not worth the stop. The saltiness and immitation flour tortillas does not help in any way! Mexican food is savory and uses many great spices and Chuy's doesn't take it to that level. The margaritas are great; take a couple before eating and you won't taste the food! Pros: atmosphere, drinks, inexpensive Cons: food, food, food more

Tex-Mex at its finest 8/19/2002

Chili compuesto, chili con queso, and the green sauce are all musts at Chuys. I prefer the River Oaks location to the one on Richmond. It can be hard to park, and the service is slow when they're busy, but it's worth it. Pros: Margaritas, Chili con Queso, Fun decor Cons: Parking, Crowded more

While Chuy's does have great Tex-Mex the reason I love it is that they also toss in a little New Mexican style with their use of Hatch Green Chiles. Try the spicy ranch with your chips - excellent. more
