Best

I love this place! It is always yummy and fast. The creamy jalapeno dip is so amazing that I want to drink it. Even if there's a big wait list, you get a table fast and there's...

I really haven't figured out why this restaurant is always so popular, bustling with people, families, children and people all around, all the time. The food is good, but could be...

Move here 3 weeks ago...been to Chey's 3 times 6/22/2005

This place is great. My wife and I just moved here and every time we go out to eat she suggests Chuy's, and we've been there 3 times in 3 weeks. The food is good Mexican Food, the chips keep coming, and you have to ask for the Jalepeno Cream Sauce with your chips, I'm getting hungary writing the review. Great, Causal atmosphere with great Margaritas! Pros: Chips, Margaritas Cons: Parking, Noise level more

Always Muy Bueno 5/20/2005

We usually order the 911 Hot Plate, but all the menu items are excellent: we've never been dissapointed, and the wait staff is routinely cheerful and attentive. Pros: Quality TexMex, Inexpensive, Fast Cons: Busy, . more

Great TEXMEX!!! 5/9/2005

The food is always served hot - the beer is ICE Cold. Very good service, fun, and a very good atmosphere more

The Best Place in Houston 5/5/2005

If you love Mexican Food and Elvis this is the place for you!!!!!!!!!! more

Great Margarita 5/1/2005

I recommend the texas martini and the elvis dish. They are awesome! J is the best bartender EVER! I love coming here for a quick getaway from work after 5pm. It's the best. Pros: chip'n dip, margarita more

Awesome every time 3/9/2005

I crave this place weekly. It is consistently good food, service, and ambience. No, it's not a typical Mexican food restaurant, so don't go here if that's what you are expecting. They come up with inovative and delicious concoctions that make you crave more. Try the queso compuesto for an appetizer, and for dinner the chili rellenos with chicken and cheese and deluxe tomatillo to top it off -- better than anywhere I've gone -- even my dad agrees, and THAT'S a big deal! more

Saturday is official ""Chuy's Day""! The margaritas are #1 on my list. And the creamy jalapeno ranch is to die for! more

Way Overrated 12/22/2004

The food here is not very good at all. Everyone thinks this place is really good, but i have eaten here a few times and been thoroughly disappointed in each visit. The only thing worth the time of eating is the creamy jalapeno (available upon request). Overall just a poor restaurant. Cons: , Loud more

Margarita's and Tortilla Soup 5/14/2004

I love this restaurant!! It is by far the Best place to get Texas Martini's and Tortilla Soup!!! Pros: Decorative, Inexpensive, Good Service Cons: , Crowded at night more

food, parking 4/20/2004

I get the comida deluxe everytime and it never fails. The chicken is so tender and tastes so fresh. Service is very attentive and quick. Parking is the only negative no matter what day of the week it is so get their early unless you plan on walking from across the street. more

Good food at a good price 12/29/2003

I love eating at this fun place. The chips are thin and crispy and the salsas and jalapeno ranch dip are a great way to begin the meal! I love getting the Chuychanga or the chicken soft tacos. The beans and rice are ok. Parking can be a problem on busy nights and there can be a wait. They took a reservation for me when I was planning a birthday party dinner. They also kept a cake in the refrigerator until I was ready to present it to the birthday guests. Very nice! Chuy's has a nice happy hour too. Pros: reasonbly priced, good food, good happy hour Cons: can be loud, not romantic, parking more

great rita's 9/5/2003

Chuy's on Westheimer is the best one. They have great rita's even if they are a little on the small side. Great Baja shrimp tacos. Pros: good food, great drinks Cons: noisey, cramped seating more

Chuy's is the best 9/5/2003

Whenever my wife and I are back in Texas the first place we go when we get off the airplane is Chuy's. Just like Lance Armstrong wrote in his book, Chuy's is the best mexican around. more

Best Margaritas 9/5/2003

Hi, Just wanted to say that I visited Chuy's restaurant during the lunch hour and had 2 of their delicious Mango/Strawberry margaritas and they were absolutely the best ever!!!! If you have never had their creamy jalenpeno sauce, i ask, where have you been??? That is a must and the margaritas as well....I stopped drinking Margaritas because I could not find a good one...well, I found it at Chuy's..... more

it's all about the chile 7/26/2003

Chuys is the only place in the state of Texas, outside of El Paso, where you can find stuff made with real NM green chiles. That, in and of itself, makes it worth the trip. more

BUSY CITY RESTAURANT 2/25/2003

I really haven't figured out why this restaurant is always so popular, bustling with people, families, children and people all around, all the time. The food is good, but could be improved and the ambiance is mediocre, being that it's always loud unless you plan to dine M-Saturday 2-4pm. The decor makes me think of another hip Taco Cabana. more

Tex-Mex 2/7/2003

If you like Tex-Mex than this restauraunt is o.k. The salsa is not all that great and the chips are stale. more

Bring Earplugs!!! 1/28/2003

One of the LOUDEST damn places I've been outside of rock concerts. The room is very ""live""! Don't even think you can begin to understand what someone across the table is saying unless you can read lips. Other than that - food is average to OK. Pros: inexpensive, prkng ok-usually walk Cons: noisy, crowded more

HOT but awesome! 1/13/2003

Great green chile chicken enchaladas with blue corn tortillias. The 911 hot plate. Hurts so good! Pros: food, good parking Cons: crowded more

Just a party place 1/3/2003

This is the kind of mexican restaurant that litter the rest of America. Catering to young people who have come to drink. Food is substandard but nobody comes for the food. Pros: party atmosphere Cons: loud, bland food more
