My husband Glenn and I went to Christmas Lumber July 7th 2011 to see what their plywood looked like. We were not impressed with what we saw at Lowes. The guys at Christmas told us to go out back and have a look see. We did, and what we saw was in great condition and not warped at all. We bought 8 pcs and 1lb of wood screws with special drill bit. They informed us of their free delivery, but shouldn't expect delivery for a day or two. To our surprise, they delivered the next day. Much to my dismay, the top pc of plywood was warped in the shape of an U and they didn't have our bag of screws/bit. I informed the driver he would need to come back and give us our bag of screws/bit and return the inferior pc of plywood. He was none to happy, but did take the bad pc of plywood back while informing me he wasn't sure when he could return, as he had other deliveries...
I called the mgr and told him of the situation. His response and tone to my dilemma made me feel as if, What does a woman know????
When the driver finally returned later that day, he didn't bother to let us know, he just dropped and ran, leaving us with another inferior pc of plywood!!! This one was so badly pitted on the end it was coming apart, and Glenn has yet to find the special drill bit in the bad of screws that they didn't bother to wrap separately!
I guess they don't need new customers, because their customer service is soooo bad I would never go back and deal with these thankless ingrates again after this situation. Woman beware, this is definitely a good-ole-boy store and by gosh you better not think of returning an inferior product.....
