Children's Paradise

They do not know how to take care of kids, in the infant room, they just "stuff the babies" until they throw up and then put them in their cribs until they feed them again. Their is no security, anyone can pick up your kid. I witnessed numerous times when the teacher would leave the room to talk with friends outside the building leaving a room full of kids unatended. If youc are about your children, do not send them here. more

FROM MY EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH THEM...While the facility is very clean and nice, looks decieved me. Security is almost non-existant. When I would report anything, no matter how minor or how major, they blew it off. I saw with my own eyes them breaking several state laws. I even had a worker tell me that they were mistreating one of my kids. My kids came home with horror stories of being yelled at, told to shut up and being denied bathroom visits, water and snacks. One of my children said they were not allowed to talk, even on the playground. I've often heard them bad mouth the kids and parents of the kids that go there. I don't usually believe every word a child says, but this was over the top. My children grew scared of the daycare workers wrath. I would not recommend them to anyone. more

Good: They always made sure my children where picked up on time and did their homework.. Bad: Security is not there. My dad was able to walk in and pick up my kids without being asked for ID. On several occasions I have picked up another kid (with parent permission) and they never told the school I was picking them up and I was not on the master roster. Children where very unhappy with the facility. They call it childrens prisondise. Improvements: Security, and more kid friendly staff and rules.. Other: If you use them, spot check them at random hours. Test what they boast about safety of children.. more

Yes the pplace is clean and they serve fresh food but there is more to running a quality daycare than that. They need to employ teachers and caregivers that actually care about the kids and are trained to handle children. I've picked up my child and seen the kids running wild at times. I too was impressed at first but a change in staff made a big difference. I would not recommend this daycare. more

My grandchildren have gone to Children's Paradise in the past, and both I and their parents were pleased with the service. As a previous reviewer stated, they serve fresh food and have several activities to entertain your children. With as many problems with finding decent childcare these days, I feel comfortable leaving my grandchildren here. more

Owned by two sisters, Children's Paradise is a place you can really feel good about leaving your child or children. The meals are hot and fresh made. The place is really clean and there are many activities that your child/children will enjoy. My daughter always was happy to go and did not want to leave. Identification is checked until they recognize your face and they will keep up with medication if necessary. more
