Decent off-the-shelf frames and matting 7/11/2007

I went here to frame some 11x14 photos I'd taken and I found their selection to be a little less pricey than Aaron Brothers standard stock. The store itself is easy to navigate but parking can be difficult on 4th street sometimes. I did not use their custom framing services at all but only because I didn't need to. If I have any custom needs I'd try them before Aaron Brothers. more

Didn't seem all that cheap with a name like Cheap Pete's 11/24/2005

I went in to get my son's artwork framed for gifts. $25 per frame seemed high, I think I could get frames cheaper at IKEA. Matting seemed expensive too. The worker measured the custom matting wrong (luckily, I caught it) and she forgot to give me credit for a coupon. On the plus side, they were on the ball about correcting it. more

Very Good Service 11/11/2005

I purchased a frame for my class picture and it came out real nice. The salesboy was courteous enough. He came up to me and asked if I needed help. He showed me a few frames, gave me a quote for professional framing job but I didn't need that. I wound up paying only $14 for a 8 1/2" X 11" frame with matte (tax incl). The only thing that scares me about Cheap Pete's is their return policy which is basically means what you buy is what you keep. PROS: Cheap prices! CONS: more

Cheap Petes 9/6/2005

Overall I had a good experience at this framing store. My mom had bough me a beautiful picture and the frame broke. The salesperson at Cheap Petes was very friendly. He helped me to find the best frame that would match the picture as well as the decor in my home. He was very knowledgable and gave me a wonderful quote. the picture is now absolutely gorgeous. If it wasn;t for his suggestions, I would never have picked a this certain frame. Great customer service and very helpful staff more

Reliable framing service. 6/9/2005

I had a large photograph mounted on some matting and placed within a nice wooden frame. The service I received was decent, and the attendant went out of his way to offer me a competitive deal. The work was professionally done. One potential caveat: I think pricing goes up if you bring in a frame that is not sold by Cheap Pete's. In my case, I had a frame that I previously had acquired from Cheap Pete's. PROS: Reliable and professional framing service. CONS: more
