Celestial Spa On Cloud9

My wife and I had a great experience! We both had the Fly me to Moon package, which includes their signature massage and a facial. They tailored our massages to our needs. They used hot stones, Eminence products, and hot towels on both us; but on her massage they focused on deep relaxation, and on my mine, they focused on relaxing several knotted muscle groups. We're both amazed at how smooth and clean we feel from the facials. Overall, everyone was very friendly, they paid close attention to our needs, and we will definitely visit again! more

My wife and I have had many massages over the years but Cloud 9 was the best ever!! The staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable. They were totally focused on making sure our experience was the best. They spent the extra time and care on specific aches and pains we noted before we started. We will go back to Cloud 9 everytime we come to Myrtle Beach..no question. Pros: Friendly, Knowledgeable, Variety Cons: None more

I went in for a facial on a cloudy day of my vacation. I did a quick search to see which spa in the area used eminence products and found Cloud 9. I thought I would give it a try and I am so happy I did. It was the best facial I have ever had. She offered such great info and during my back and arm massage while the mask was working it was the best massage I have had. She taught me tips that I could do at home to manage both muscular problems and skin issues. I wish it was close enough for regular visits but unfortunately it isn't! I can't imagine any place living up to Cloud 9 anytime soon. I will be telling anyone I know who goes to Myrtle Beach to make sure they find time to get pampered at Cloud 9. ok....i will say that thurough412's reveiw was somewhat little harsh. Some things I can agree with and others I don't know where he/she was coming from. When you walk in, its small but not a big problem. I was impressed at first. The massage therapist who worked on me, I can pronounce her name and somewhat did not understand what she was saying, massage me for a whole hour not 45 min. but the therapist talked forever and interrupted my massage. So I did not enjoy it. Not only that, after the massage was over, she left the spa so fast, I felt as if the session wasn't for me, it was more about her getting paid. Because the spa is small, it did smell like onions or something not pleasing. In all honesty I don't think I could go back. First time impression. Cons: Disturbing more

Some people would refer to me as a spa junkie. I have traveled to Europe, China, and many places in the U.S. I always treat myself to spa treatments or at least a massage at most places I travel. I just want to let people know that Celestial Spa has lived up, or in some cases, surpassed my experience at some of the top destination spas I have visited. I received an organic facial (they use Eminence products), a Champagne Mimosa body scrub, and a spectacular massage with hot stones. It was to die for!!! The staff was so lovely and kind, and I was truly treated like a queen! I look forward to my next visit this coming summer. Pros: Beautiful Spa. Very Clean and the staff is very professional. As a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, a South Carolina state Licensed Massage Therapist, a member of Associated Massage and Bodyworkers Professionals and a employee of Celestial Massage and Spa for the past year, I would like to apologize to thurough412 for their negative experience. I am sorry that you did not feel safe at our location. Celestial Spa is in a PROFESSIONAL PLAZA on 21st Avenue, located directly across from Broadway at the Beach, one of the largest tourist draws in Myrtle Beach. The area is very safe and very well known. The spa has a designated lunch room and on occassion therapists will pick up fast food for a quick meal. I am deeply sorry that the smell of lunch offended you. We do try very hard to meet and rise above the highest spa standards of appearance and professionalism. The extras you mentioned as being a plus for the spa, I assume you are refering to the hot stone therapy we use in our signature Celestial Massage on the neck, back, and shoulders, as well as steamed towels for the face and neck. I am glad you enjoyed these added extras. I hope you find a spa better suited for you that meets your specific needs as a client. Take care. Pros: Great environment to work and visit more

Wow... the author of this review obviously dosen't frequent the same Celestial Spa on Cloud 9 as I do.! After visiting many other local spas I was delighted with the cleanliness and professionalism of this establishment. My appointments have always been on time, and gone over the alloted time, never under! The deal breakers for me are the impeccable cleanliness, the most outstanding customer service I've ever recieved and most important , the display of the Christian symbol in their advertising. Those are the "extras" provided by Celestial Spa. Whoever wrote this review should be charged with slander. As far as the neighborhood goes, there's two real estate companies, two attorneys, and a security company. I don't know about you, but that seems as safe a neighborhood as you can get! I completely disagree with the review posted by thurough412. I have been to Celestial Spa several times and each time has been an incredible experience. I've never experienced what was written. I'm not sure if this reviewer is reviewing the right spa. They are extremely clean, their therapists are skilled at what they do, and I've never had my session cut short. In terms of location, they are located directly across from The Palace Theater and Broadway at the Beach in a professional office park - not sure I would agree that this is the worst part of town,and I've never worried about my car. I would recommend thurough412 to find this place and give it a try, because I can't believe they are reviewing the right spa. I've recommended this spa to many of my friends and co-workers and have received nothing but high praises from them and thanks that I made the recommendation. first of all this place is dirty,the aroma therapy smelled like a fast food dumpster and it is in a bad neighborhood...i thought if i parked outside that my car would get stolen.the massage was only 45 mins and i paid for an hour and it wasn't even good.....i wouldnt recomend this place.
