No Christmas Wrapping Service Available--at Christmas!!! 12/2/2011

The mall has gone into bank receivership, and I can understand why. I bought a $50+ gift from Penney's, and Penney's said they do not have a gift wrap service. After checking with 5 different vendors in the mall, I learned that there was NO gift wrap service available at the mall. If I had known this prior to purchasing my merchandise, I definitely would have gone to another mall that did have gift wrapping service available. more

Regency Mall is continually being updated to keep it attractive. There are new stores all the time. The play area is fun for kids. The food court was recently remodeled and is very nice. The mall does a great job of keeping up with the times and not becoming an eye sore. Also, Regency has the best department stores in the area. more

Older mall that is fighting for business 9/29/2005

I wondered if Regency Square was going to be able to stay alive after the two new upscale malls came to Richmond. Regency lost The Gap and Gap Kids. They have added some interesting stores, like a creative ceramic store and a massage place. They completely redid the food court. It is much more open and airy now. There is a new toddler play area that seems to be a big hit. more

Old mall with new pizzaz 8/6/2005

This mall was west end's original but with all the new competition, it had a facelit a few years ago. They offer some nicer stores and some 'regular' stores. They have nice seating areas throughout the mall and a children's play area near the food court. The play area is designed for preschoolers but somehow there's always a big kid or two. It is small so I avoid peak times. They have kid's programs sometimes too. The food court has lost some restaurants, but Chik-Fil-A is always our staple. With the kid's club card (free at customer service) there are a few deals. more
