Good Place - Great for a quick night out or lunch 12/5/2009

I took my kids to dinner there last night. The kids loved the cheese bread. My kids ordered what they always do at this ype of place, Noodles | chicken strips. They were satisfied. They have all you can drink pop for the kids. We ordered off the kids menu, it is not expensive. Pros: Food is decent- better than a Red Robin for similar prices more

Never ever going back. 5/18/2008

Silverware was dirty- that's when we should have got up and left, but we dine out alot so that, by itself, could just be an off night thing. Then service was s-l-o-w, my food was cold, and the wait person was pushy about making it right. Neither my partner nor myself liked or ate most of our main courses which both tasted like canned ingredients ruled. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, no adjustment to the bill was made! You can get a better meal at Taco Bell and that's not saying much. Cons: food, service more

There is no love sincerer than the love of food. 6/3/2007

They welcome you by opening the door and greeting you with a smile. Which not only makes you feel at ease, but you feel as if the welcome is genuine and not just something they are suppose to do, and when you enter Canyons Restaurant you assume based on the architecture and the surroundings it is some type of Southwestern or Tex Mex Restaurant, like Two Dagos in Downtown Seattle. However... You would be quite wrong in that assumption. Pros: Everything is consistently good. Cons: Hard to figure out what your tastebuds are calling for sometimes, with such a range of good food. more

Average food at best 12/23/2006

I finally checked this place out and wasn't impressed. I had the fajitas. They weren't that great. Mostly onions and peppers and not very good flavor. This place is your typical chain restaurant that doesn't offer anything worth writing home about. I'd much rather go to Chili's if I'm picking this type of chain. If you live in redmond and know the area at all, no need to go here. There are so many better places to go. If you are passing through town and need a place to grab some food and stop here I wo'nt blame you for going. Pros: Clean, new place Cons: Average food at best more

Good place for groups 11/7/2006

They have a nice menu with some variety. The food was good - fresh and tasty - and the drinks. There's plenty of room if you have a large group. The wait staff was very good. It was a bit loud, though. more

A reasonable price for good food! 6/26/2005

With a spacious dining area, Canyons Restuarant in Redmond was overall a great experience. For an inexpensive cost, Canyons Restuarant can be a tasty treat for anyone. The menu overall caters to a wide variety of taste buds, both adults and children. I particularly liked the coconut shrimp and dipping sauce which complimented each other with a nice tangy yet spicy twist to it. For dinner I ordered the enchalada verde which was also very flavorful and the portions were huge. I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants a great meal at a reasonable price. Pros: Good Parking more

Awesome appetizers 6/23/2005

Let's just say that if you start your meal with appetizers you will be very pleased. The coconut shrimp with thai dipping sauce were amazing! The sauce had just the right amount of spice and a great peanut flavor that wasn't at all overwhelming. The ambience had a nice southwestern vibe that wasn't overdone. Which is interesting, because the menu also has a southwestern vibe, but the choices are all over the map. Including thai flavors, american burgers, and pasta. The restaurant had a very casual vibe and seemed to be a great choice for parents to bring their children. The service was prompt and friendly. For your money you got a ton of food. My friends and I planned to get dessert, but none of us could get more than halfway through our meals. I will definitely go back next time I want a good bang for my buck. Pros: appetizers!, inexpensive, good variety more

Two thumbs up!! 6/21/2005

I stopped by Canyons for the first time after work with a few friends and we had a blast. The mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce hit the spot and the chicken fajitas marinated in chipotle sauce was a great entree. It seems like there is something for everyone on the menu, which features an eclectic blend of international dishes. Even better, everything was reasonably priced and we were seated and served promptly. The restaurant is well laid out to accommodate both large and small groups. Don't forget to try the strawberry margarita, it won't disappoint. Pros: Delicious food, Prompt service, Fun atmosphere more

a fun place to eat! 6/21/2005

This brightly colored restaurant is very inviting. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun! I absolutely recommend the coconut prawns and the honey lime chicken for a healthy choice. This is a great place to go with friends and family. Pros: inexpensive, great service, very inviting more

Great Food 11/21/2004

Couple of friends and I have started eating here regularly. Service has been great and the food is awesome. My favorite is the Coconut Shrimp. Girlfriend loves the Tequila Lime Prawns. I've also had the Chicken Caesar Wrap, Durango, Yellowfin Tacos and the ribs. All tasty. Don't miss out on the corn fritters with honey butter! We all love those. Pros: taste, portions, beer selection more

below average 10/26/2004

Service was below average, waited forever to even order a drink, then waitress disappeared before taking our orders. She didn't bother to check back with us for drink refills for a long time after we finished eating, then we couldn't find her to get the check and waited about 20 minutes more. Food was ok, nothing to make us go back, but service was so slow that you dare not go when you're hungry due to the extremely long wait. Cons: , marginal food more
